Thinking buying Warcraft 3: reforge

Yea I heard the story about how this games have fallen due to horrible graphic and it didn’t give player expectation. But I just want to know if there is no bug or error issue? I honestly don’t care about the graphic or the lack of anything they say in the article but if it has no bug or error. I just want to play it cause I use to play this in middle school in mr.hill class and I couldn’t defeat strahtholm so I just want to play it again for old time sake.

So should I buy Warcraft 3 reforge for 29.99? Or is there a bug and error that haven’t been fix?

It’s a big improvement over the original, but people had higher expectations. I still have trouble playing WC3 because of the upkeep.

Graphics are good. Main screen is a bit laggy though. If you’re into custom maps, there are barely any people playing & most people don’t talk at all in the game chat.

Don’t.

Just don’t.

They killed the official release of old warcraft 3 for this. Seriously wc3 was a 1-2gb install that could run on anything only to be replaced by this 30gb monstrosity with no art direction and incomplete features.

Single player is the same old but with way nicer models. Go for it, I reckon.

Sucks that they cheaped out with it though. I wanted fully redone cinematics, like in the announcement.

Pro tip: god mode code is “whose your daddy” all one word

Cheats are acceptable in solo mode.

I just bought it recently and it definitely looks much nicer than the older version. People just had higher expectations than what was actually delivered.

I personallah would look for a physical copy of WC3 and Frozen Thrones myself: Official support for WC3 RF has died I’m pretty sure an’ I’m not sure how buggy the game is nowadays 'cause on launch it was a bit of a dumpster fire.

Is interesting to read up why it crashed and burned so hard, though! So do at least recommend doing that.

I owned the older version. When I downloaded the legacy installer, it now works through the Battle.net launcher like the reforged (not like my D2 version) I just dont think I get the multiplayer…

I kind of regret not refunding it. Never touched it and I don’t know if I’ll ever want to at this point seeing how Blizzard chose to handle it.

I kind of want the game too, the added WoW mount is a nice extra too. But I feel like I’d jinx the universe if I do;

When I purchased the remastered Command & Conquer: Red Alert, war broke out in Ukraine and that made it way too awkward to play. (I always played NOD)

This is honestly my biggest complaint. There is no reason it should run this slow. There is probably some crappy program on the back side they didn’t feel they had to bother fixing.

If you have never played it, then sure.

If you have played it and have fond memories, stay away.

No it itsnt. It should have come out with better graphics, an achievement point system, a few added levels that were not in the original.

Plus it showed more of Blizzards favoritism to the Horde. Only Horde got their mount put into WoW. Horde side should have gotten the meat wagon. Ally side should have gotten the exact equivalent which is the glaive thrower.

The meat wagon was a scourge vehicle.

There’s a reason people refer to it as “Warcraft 3: Refunded”.

Please answer in the form of a question. :man_teacher:

Don’t lie you pre ordered it for the bonus

The game is fine despite people attacking warcraft III

The same people who bashed and thrashed warcraft III reforged due to delays are the same people who praised blizzard for delaying Shadowlands by 1 month, contradicting themselves
