Most of my characters are Alliance, but for some reason I really want to play my DK on Horde instead. I really want to play as a Highmountain Tauren.
I’m considering faction/server transferring and starting over. Haven’t really found any friends/guild to play with yet, and I’d like to start raiding again.
I’d appreciate your opinions!
I would just level one. I have only race changed one character and as soon as I did it I regretted it.

Quantity isn’t the same as Quality.
I gotta say, i have race changed an embarrassing amount of characters, like 3 or 4, and I gotta say, I only didn’t regret it once. So leveling a new character is probs your best way to go.
I did it once, but only because I needed an alliance alt and had a spare 90 I had not played in ages. It beat leveling “them” from scratch.
High mountain Tauren are fun, and for more colorful than the standard type. Go for it! though I’m on an RP server I know zip about raiding.
Would be real fast to lvl a dk to, blood spec and spam them dungeons.
though it does sound like maybe it isnt just about the Highmountain, maybe you’re just tired of alliance. I play both sides, Horde seem more childish to me, atleast on the server I play on, so i stick more to ally.
I agree with others here: Start from scratch and level on up.
You should definitely do it. You would be surprised how much better the horde have it over the alliance.

And this is why the faction imbalance is becoming worse day by day.
So are mine, but I pay for the whole game, not half. Play how you want to play. Its your time and your money and its silly not to experience all of it.
Well, if damn Blizzard would just give Alliance a playable Tauren race, we wouldnt have people jumping ship.
Maybe with how alot of people are seeing Baine as a sympathizer and a traitor to Horde, maybe they will join the Alliance.

The Fact that the Alliance (Anduin excluded) pretty much considers the Taurens to be farm animals, that’s not gonna happen.
We have space goats, why would they hate Tauren. everytime i see them in game i just want to /hug everyone i see.
I suggest you jump ship to the Horde side if you want more competitive pvp, pve and mythic+.
The raiding scene in Alliance isn’t super hot, other than Frostmournies.
And I have had numerous top raiding guilds (2 being cutting edge) from the… Horde side.
If your a cashew, it might not really matter tbh.
With the exception of the Worgen, if it has fur the Alliance generally tries to set it on fire.
Would you recommend a good server? Was just going to pick a high pop, preferably EST one.
Come to the Horde! If anything, you’d be experiencing some new lore to enjoy - just to let you know, you won’t have access to HM Tauren immediately… you might need to build a toon just to go through that quest chain in Legion to unlock them (might I suggest a Forsaken Rogue) 
Oh yes, thank you. I have them unlocked. Since you can get the achievement on Alliance. I had an old DH I created back in Legion on Horde that was the correct level so I was able to unlock them!
