I seen a fury warrior use bladestorm in Mythic + and his DPS went through the roof. Kind of made me want to play one, but i’m not sure if it’s really viable.
I’m currently playing an enhancment shaman. While I understand that enhancement is in good spot in terms of DPS, I also want a class that can tank, because I hate getting constantly declined from Mythic +2 simply for not having a 180 gear score.
In your opinion, what are the pros/cons?
Thanks for your help.
I think prot warrior has a steep learning curve and can be punishing if not played correctly. Probably the second most difficult tank to play next to DK. Fury’s damage right now in single target is bottom tier, Arms is a little better.
Personally, I love my prot warrior. Tanking on it is almost like playing a piano hahah. And I dont like the new iteration of Fury warrior, but I am loving my Venthyr Arms warrior.
People are saying warrior is in a bad spot, but that won’t last, as warrior has historically had great gear scaling. If you enjoy, I would say play it.

For sure they have. Are you kidding? Haste and crit = more rage, more spenders. Prot gets higher uptime on ignore pain. Like… what?
That’s not a thing. It’s really, really not a thing.

What makes you say BDK is harder than Prot Warrior in terms of difficulty of playing?
Warrior across all 3 specializations is not in the greatest of spots even with the minor buffs coming to arms/fury tomorrow. Sadly I would recommend a different class unless you really enjoy Warrior.
Because if you miss a death strike with blood you’ll die. There’s both runic power and runes to manage. Blood DKs have far less passive armor, and no shield to block with. If they don’t keep their rotation up they’ll just straight up die. Also far less (zero) mobility to position/pull/avoid with.
What was BFA when warriors accumulated haste and became gods?
That didn’t happen.
I’d love for you to try and explain it though. I’ll fact check.
