I’m currently on Faerlina and was hoping someone could get me some info on this server. How has the population looked while leveling and do you feel like there will be longevity here or can you foresee it being a server that dies after a few months.
I think we will have a better gauge of things during todays prime time. Ideally I think we want a small queue to form here, <2,000. If neither Kromcrush nor Sulfuras get a queue, we could be in trouble.
Its name is Sulfuras…it will not die. Not ever.
Queues are low and beginning areas are quiet still but I’m enjoying the experience.
If the super high pop realms continue to have ridiculous ques, I’m sure they will do transfers to Sulfuras if it is in need of population. Dunno, beats waiting hours and hours to play.
TOO SOON to say. You have asked this question TOO SOON.
Trying to get my friends to roll here. Any speculations on faction ratio?
My friends and I are moving here from Stalagg
I’m only level 10 but everywhere I have been there have been people and competition for mobs
Theres already a 3k Q so…
We spent a solid 2-3 hours debating this very topic yesterday in my guild Discord, but we eventually settled on Sulfuras. Only a few of us were willing to keep waiting in the 20k+ queues on Stalagg.
Like a few others have said it’s still waaaay too early to really judge, but so far things are looking good (to me).
There’s an acceptable queue length (for most, it was 45 minutes or less) and with a name like Sulfuras, we all figure that’s got to count for something right?
I personally leveled to 9 with a friend, and Dun Morogh looked pretty active.
We were considering Stalagg, and a few of us made it in on launch day and the day after. However, we waited to commit until we could see ques. Stalagg is peaking between 14k-22k and this server is peaking around 3k and seems great. I hope your team will come over and if so, feel free to give our guild a look. <Tauren Tippers> [A] [Sulfuras] EST (Reroll/Fresh Start Welcome) *Medium-Core* 8:00-10:30 Tues/Thur

Server is good, Queues are low if they happen and the activity is high.
I agree. It’s a very active, thriving community (at least for the alliance), but not nearly as hectic as the fuller servers. More and more join each day.
Currently Sulfuras hits a queue time after 6pm EST and continues till after 10. the wait is usually around 1500 players.
Hi Ziggyz,
So far Sulfuras has been great Ally side. Population is very solid with a queue around 2k people during peak time (6pm-8pm) as the others said. Highly recommend.
Server seems good to me. My guild of 11 years has decided this is our home and we will be doing our part to grow and build the Horde community. We are emphasized on social interactions and not being hardcore raiders / PvPers, so we plan on hosting fun events for the realm once we have some money flow to finance them.
Dungeon races, Dueling Tournaments, Gurubashi Slaughters, Darts at Thunder Bluff, and other events are already being considered.
This server has a ratio of 52% horde, 48% alliance, with 1-2k queues at prime hours.
This was data pooled from people on the Sulfuras discord.
Sulfuras looks to be a pretty cool server
Server split is not quite that good, ran a census during prime time last night. 8000 h: 6700 alliance. Its horde heavy although you have the 2nd best balance i’ve seen. Other pvp servers are closer to 2:1 horde to alliance ratios.
