Think wow could get basic VR support?

Not talking about full VR controls but effectively a first person mode with depth. It wouldn’t be good for anything difficult but could make leveling an interesting experience.

It wouldn’t be to hard to implement either forms of it exist already from people tinkering with it.

Not sure where our limitations are as far as on current hardware.

However, I have been thinking about this. and TBH.

it’d be pretty insane!

VR in housing? it would totally change social gatherings and interactions.

Not sure if you’ve ever seen “Horizon Worlds” but I see a lot of that potential, even in the building aspect.

Shouldn’t be any just to have VR effects… issue is more most modded vr setups run on a specific varation on direct X

Then I think it would be absolutely NUTS!

Imagine, packing one of the social styled builds with folks IN their avatar, experiencing Azeroth from that point?

Rather typing, proximity speaking? free to move around and join and leave conversations without messing with a chat server?

I’ve seen a tremendous number of social hubs in VR and they were ALWAYS the largest draw.

I do not love WoW. However, I would love that.

The architecture is all wrong proportionally and looks weird as hell in vr. I tried it years ago and it didn’t make for a great experience

To be fair it always has its just more noticeable in first person. There are tons of examples when you look at room proportions
