Think Tyr knew about the Jailer?

I dunno, dude seemed impressively well versed in things even the Titans weren’t, it wouldn’t surprise me if he’d discovered that an entity from the Shadowlands had designs on Azeroth, on top of the plans the Void lords had.

Unlikely seeing as how well he and his allies were able to obfuscate their presence, identities, and motives

It is best if we collectively forget about The Chuckler to minimize his impact on future lore and instead hang the plot hook of “what is to come” on what Murozond saw that made him think a Cthulhu hellscape was a better outcome.

Tyr, nah unlikely. But Odyn did as the jailer had his eye.

I doubt any of the Titan Keepers were aware of Zovaal or any member of the Pantheon of Death. Odyn made a deal not with Zovaal but with Mueh’zala.

Odyn did not even know who he made a deal with; he just knew they were in a hellscape that scared him beardless—He foresaw maw dailies, clearly.

I super doubt anyone knew about him.

Not exactly but maybe he’s involved at something in the Shadowlands.

I want to know where he got Hunnin and Munnin if they are native to Draenor. They are children of Anzu, and Anzu was in The Maw, presumably, since he ate Sethe.

What can be found is it’s a reuse of the model. Funny enough is the models for the gods Anzu and Rukhmar is reused for rustfeather predators of Mechagon Isle.

There’s also similar models in Highmountain with no explanation how they would have got there.

Jailer who? I don’t know what you’re talking about. Maybe you’re talking about that fan fiction that is totally not canon in any way.

A fart in the breeze.

It’s just asset reuse.

He can constantly see out of his Eye yet did not know how the Jailer used what he saw to his advantage.

Yes that means Odyn was constantly seeing everything the Jailer saw with his Eye and the Jailer saw everything Odyn saw with his other Eye which would have only benefited him if Odyn had Aman’Thul’s Time Magic as none of Zovaal’s schemes involved the Halls of Valor until Shadowlands and by that point Helya was already there to inform him of the Halls of Valor and it’s location.

The Jailer as far as I’m aware of never disclosed his motives at any point otherwise Odyn would have published the knowledge of the 7th Cosmic Force everywhere!

I dont even know anything about the jailer after fighting him
was a cool boss fight though

Considering that the Titan Keepers knew of the First Ones, it’s likely that they also knew about what they did, what they created. Tyr likely knew just as much as Odyn. Meaning he knew the Shadowlands existed and that the Jailer was already imprisoned in the Maw.

We’ll get a better idea of how much he did know as the story progresses.

The primary source we have for how well they hid themselves is them, and them includes Denathrius and the nathrezim who’re notoriously prideful and going to be extremely biased. And just the Jailer and his allies in general, so of course they’re going to think they were perfect.

The Void knew about the nathrezim (Ilgynoth alludes to them), and N’Zoth was directly attempting to use its knowledge of the Jailer’s schemes to coerce us into joining it (that’s why it shows us Azshara and Sylvanas’ meeting). The Light also found out via Lothraxion. Azeroth herself appeared to have some idea, hence why she sent us to stop it and helped us by keeping us from being trapped in the Maw. I also don’t believe for a second that Kil’jaeden and Sargeras weren’t aware of the nathrezim’s true allegiance, but rather that they simply allowed the nathrezim to think they were flawless because it served no purpose to out them as long as they played along with the Legion’s goals.

It seems more to me that the other powers were totally making moves to stop the Jailer (except Disorder who would have no reason to since Sargeras wanted something similar), and it was Azeroth (technically Order, but she seems to be her own side) who succeeded in stopping it via her Champions. And Renathal seemed to note that Azeroth was behind our presence in the Shadowlands.

So from that view, it doesn’t seem too unlikely that the Keepers were aware of the Jailer to some degree, but Tyr’s specialty towards preparation that rivals the Primus’ makes me really think he knew about the Jailer and was cautious of him.
