Clicking on some forum posts in general makes my processor fan freak out and go super fast.
Its definitely software cause it fixes itself after a bit. i am not a software technician . so I cant tell you how they are doing it , or if it’s possible, Yet, this is what happens.
Sounds like the fan is ramping up due to heat, but wouldn’t be able to tell without seeing some kind of fan curve or temperature readout at the time it happens
Solution huh? , so why is a itty bitty100mb forum post , making a game computer processor over heat, when the game itself is not able to do it?
What browser? I’m not sure what would cause this from normal browsing save if the browser itself is causing something CPU intensive.
Do you have multiple tabs open?
I use firefox, I use the forum link on the launcher page , so battle.net is running in the background and No , I don’t have multiple tabs open.
Not sure, I usually game with multiple tabs open in chrome with multiple tabs opened, streaming YouTube, Twitch, and forums in Chrome. Probably only difference is it’s relatively new rebuild with new thermal paste with a AOI cooler.
i have an aftermarket cooler installed on my processor with a 4 inch fan, the processor is a little weak 6 core, but it handles retail just fine.
