Think I found the real location of Springfield from The Simpsons

Hey guys!,

I was watching an older episode of The Simpsons tonight on Netflix. You know how they never revealed which state Springfield is in? I think I figured it out.

In one episode it shows Interstate 95 going thru the town and that Interstate only goes thru one Springfield. That Springfield is located in the state of Virginia. Just out of D.C.

The episode where you can see this is in Episode 22 - Season 13!

Any thoughts on this?

In Henderson NV they built a replica Simpsons house with furniture to match and did a giveaway prize back in the late 90s. I think its still there, dunno if the owners changed it or not.

I’d have to watch teh episode, but my family is from Eugene, OR and Folks in that area highly believe it’s based off of Springfield, OR
