I think we can all agree that if you honestly believe that streamers aren’t the backbone of the WoW community you are super crazy. If it wasn’t for Sodapoppin, Asmongold, esfandtv, and mcconnellret etc etc this game wouldn’t be close to where it is now a days. It would be a free to play trash mmo. So I suggest you give credit where credit is due.

People don’t like to admit this but it’s true. Wow Classic had 1 million twitch viewers when it released because of people like Asmon and Soda.
Oh, and Faerlina’s economy is great by the way. As is the community. All you streamer doomers are pathetic.

I’ve only ever heard of one of those people and I’ve never watched a “”“famous”"" streamer regularly but this might be dramatic. I’m not sure how they impact the playerbase in general. Do you pay $15/month to watch other people play? You can do that for free.

What in the world are you talking about? I have never heard of these people you mentioned. World of Warcraft needs no streamers to be a great game. There weren’t any streamers when it released and it did just fine. And the main reason there were so many views on twitch for this game is because most of the players were stuck in queue.

Big streamers are necessary for an online game to gain traction nowadays. If you don’t know about Asmon or Soda and you play WoW Classic, you’re the exception, not the rule. Sorry gramps.

WoW Classic would have gotten viewers regardless. It just wouldn’t have been Asmon or Soda that got them.
People tuned in to watch WoW Classic, not to watch a certain streamer. I seriously doubt Asmongold has 500k subscribers.

LMAO big streamers aren’t necessary for THIS game to gain traction. That may be true for other games like Fortnite or something but not this gem.
