Things you learned much later than you should

I just learned tonight that the essence fonts drop off the the occultists in the Sun King fight.

Been healing that dumb fight since December. But didn’t know until tonight. Just blindly healed them when the raid leader was like “essence fonts are up.” Then today I saw one drop one after it died.

Anything you just learn now that you should have known long ago?

People who use silence as a way to manipulate. Nope. No mass Senorita!

Peace :+1:t2::sparkles:

It was shockingly late in my mythic plus career that I learned I could spell reflect the last boss of DoS’s one shot ability.

I didn’t realize I could offensively mass dispel til like 8.3

I didn’t realize I could use spell reflection at all on my fury warrior, because the icon is a shield so I always just assumed you needed to use a shield for the ability. LOL

No joke… I had no idea where the Ashran portal was in my garrison until a few days ago.

That’s just the Horde one, btw. No clue where the one is for Alliance.

I think it used to require a shield.

I’ve wanted dark nights in Wow forever, but just realized Inky Black Potions are a thing.

To get off of alexstraza as soon as possible because my guild leader was a creep. Wish I had seen it sooner.

It wasn’t CSG, you guys were awesome.

In fairness, that’s a blanket filter. It’s better than nothing but it’s not the same as having properly designed night cycles, light sources, etc.

It did, up until 5.4.

There’s a wrist enchant in Shadowlands that reduces your hearthstone cooldown to 10 minutes.

Usable by anyone, not just enchanters.

Pebbles on the ground are an effective counter to a Mage’s blink.

So, we know that some of the WQ pet battles are easier to win with lv1 pets.
Your lv1 pet usually gains half a level when you win, so after you win twice, your pet is lv2 now and no longer “useful” (for me) and I’ve been deleting them & made sure I had the new lv1’s stocked up for replacement.

A few days ago I just found out that when you cage a half-leveled lv1 pet, it refreshes the leveling and you get a brand new lv1 pet when you relearn it.

All those gold I spent buying lv1 pets for restocking and all those poor lv2 pets that I deleted from the wow universe… :sob:

To be honest, when you have a good pool of maxed level pets, you don’t need lvl 1 for the pet battles to be easy.

How does that work exactly? If you use a team of Level 1 pets, do the trainer’s pets all scale down to Level 1, too?
