…what are you doing in your life that you have 1,000 Progenitor Essentia!?
Things Stack to 1,000 Now
Did they fix it on live?
Last I checked nothing was stacking to 1000 yet.
So that’s gonna be quite a list.
Shrouded Cloth definitely isn’t stacking past 200.
I read in a Blue post that it doesn’t take into account any previous expansions’ mats.
Primal Spirits from WoD are stacking to 1,000. Not sure what they were before though.
I don’t. They’re still stacking to 10. I have 11 because I forgot about the 10 I shoved in the bank and there’s 1 in my inventory. But in my bank I now have a stack of 10, and a stack of 1.
Figures.
They always did.
That’s deeply irritating if it doesn’t change.
I’m not sure what is so confusing to people.
The proper way to treat WoW is to pretend each expansion is a new game. Stop thinking that every change should back-port into old content. If it does, that’s icing on the cake.
We should all be forced to play Classic WoW and spec in the obviously superior Classic talent trees.
Storage isn’t “old content”. It’s a back-end system.
Yeah… and enjoy the same raids over and over ad nauseum until your Talent Trees are taken away in Classic Cata.
Moving backward is the only right choice as the future is scary. Trust me I can see the future of WoW and it’s playable on next gen consoles.
Winning
So I guess you’ll be enjoying Shadowlands again soon™
nooooooooooooooooooooooo no god no never again noooooooooooooooooooooo
I’m also never replaying Cataclysm, Mists, Warlords, Legion, BfA as well ever again. This game has been nothing but a slow crawl back towards an actual good game from the junk it has been.
Anyway things stacking to 1,000 is nice I guess cause more space yay.
If by “proper way” you mean “stupid way,” then yes.
QoL changes like inventory should be across the board. Why is it that Old Republic can do this but WoW can’t?
But stacking is an attribute of the resource, not the little box in your bag or bank.
The meta point is that they (apparently) didn’t bother to go back through the eleventy zillion legacy mats and go and tickle their “stacking” bits (however that’s done). And they are wisely gun shy of doing that because the ripple effect of unintended consequences should they rock that creaking old boat of legacy content.
Sounds like poor excuses on their part to me. Old Republic’s code was way worse off than WoW’s code, yet they managed to update these sorts of things across the board.
Which is an easy edit to the item table.
Something that makes you feel stupid isn’t stupid. That’s called projection. You’re just mad you didn’t realize this sooner.
