Things right click reporting will get you muted for:

People turned against Nost when they asked Ely to stop using the data from Nost. Which is why Ely stopped copying the toons from Nost to Ely. That stupid portal didn’t work for me and I lost my druid, hunter, and my twinks.
Before that people started turning against Nost because they hadn’t yet released their data as they had promised the community if blizz didn’t do classic.
Low and behold they released it. Ely capitalized on it (turned out they were in it for the money) and then mysteriously(as in someone told them that was a mistake) the Nost guys asked them to stop using their data. This isn’t even tin foil theory. This went down like this. Lol.

Edit to add: Who remembers Pottu and all the love/hate he received for trying to keep chat civil on Nost?
I’d be all for replacing the RCR with him. Lol. It’s just not viable for blizz though. /shrug

So I gather they kinda imploded along with Blizzard’s C&D? Don’t know much about story behind Nost other than their name.

Where did I say that was your opinion as well?

Let’s clarify, though.

Do you believe that Blizzard will have the GM staff to investigate every squelch, overturn the ones in which no violation occurred and then investigate every report that contributed to the unwarranted squelch thoroughly enough to prove whether or not the system was abused and punish those that abused the system?

Didn’t I hear from you guys that Private servers boasted that they did it with less staff?

Don’t forget the obvious enforcement and tracking down of real money traders, win traders, and all those tickets that guild bank alts will generate. Plus all the normal cheaters, bugs, and issues that arise.

I feel like I’m on trial and the lawyer asking me these questions is a fraud that only represents himself and his desire for a “gotcha” moment.

Yes.

I object! Counsel is badgering the witness.

I never made that claim, although others have.

I’ve also seen many proponents of the auto squelch claim that Blizzard would be unable to even handle reviewing flagged accounts if that auto squelch was replaced with a flag for manual review.

If Blizzard can handle reviewing each and every squelch, overturn those squelched that are unwarranted and investigate each and every report that contributed to an unwarranted squelch to prove whether or not the system was abused and punish those abusing the system, they should be able to handle the much less demanding task of reviewing accounts that are simply flagged (and not squelched) after enough reports are received, should they not?

Slow down, your post count isn’t that important.

scale back the venom, typing via tablet sucks, phone is no better, that virtual keyboard can be a pain.

Then they should be able to handle manually reviewing accounts that are simply flagged for manual review instead of squelched (using the same target report number, but replacing the squelch with a flag for manual review), should they not?

Sorry, posting from my phone. Post edited.

you’re lucky Autocorrect likes you, or else your posts could turn out very different, lol.

Asking someone to slow down because their posts have been rife with unintelligible gibberish is not “venom”. Adding the “your post count isn’t that important” could be considered a light, passive-aggressive remark.

That’s to be determined by the right click reporting

Nah bro, I just mean life is too short, he very clearly made a typo, and as someone who sports a pretty hefty typo aura, I feel that pain too well :O)

Reporting on the forums is a left-click activity.

Exactly. A disgusting system

You’re not going to find many popular forums without any sort of report/flagging system, sorry.
