maybe im just getting old and grumpy but people who can but dont give a crap about preventing fall damage it might be a small thing but thats more avoidable work, basically anything avoidable pretty much and you have no idea when i see people go out of their way to avoid damage it warms my heart
I hate when people put a marker on me.
Yeah, I know- it helps some people. Fine. Which is why I just keep my mouth shut and tolerate it.
I wish we had the ability to turn off seeing those markers - that way people who need them can use them, and I donāt have to see them.
I donāt like to be among the rabble. They obscure the view of my characters doing stuff.
100% the most frustrating for me is people not using their defensives. I have an add-on to track those and I was in a Nelt 19 the other day and each dps didnāt touch their defensives the entire run. I even asked nicely in chat for people to use them to help me out as a healer and crickets and they didnāt use ANY of them. Like how do you not want to help out?? I only play healers so this is at the top of my list.
DPS who get themselves killed seconds into a pull, when the tank announces they will pull big. The DPS then asking, āWhere were my heals?ā
Players who have no idea how the chain boss in Neltharus works, so either all the dps break their chains at the same time, or the tanks break all the chains at the same time, resulting in a wipe. The first question then being āhealer, why do you suck at healing?ā
Theyāre 40 yards back, and after the melee kills the trash theyāre working on, the ranged take their time starting to move up with the group and aggro more stuff.
Getting rude, mainly. I am well-equipped to deal with whatever tomfoolery comes my way as a holy priest (er, several holy priests). I know people make mistakes. I do too! Just kidding, Iām perfect.
People telling me what to do after going out of their way to eat the dirt.
There was one guy who was tanking in Waili ng Caverns, and kept. Getting. Out of. My Line of Sight. I mean, running around the boss, spinning, jumping⦠RUNNING AROUND THE COLUMNS. When it started happening I just said, āhey, LoSā ā no reply. I let him die and took the deserter debuff.
also what OP said ;___; āHIIIII LETāS STACK MOBS ON TOP OF THE HEALERā
This is the 1st Iām hearing about healing rain so Iām assuming that, like me, theyāre avoiding it because they donāt know what it is.
Is this new?
/healme spamā¦especially when they donāt need healing!
Iām guilty of this. Mostly because I donāt run with many resto shamans, and I see circle on the ground and I move out of habit.
Worse part? I have a 70 resto shaman that I play from time to time, so I know thisā¦
Annoying:
-
Tanks that donāt pace pulls on healer. If every pull people are dropping low on HP and nearly dying, adjust the pulls. Either you are pulling too much or everyone in the group is braindead mouthbreather so either way adjustments are needed.
-
People standing around at half health while the healer is drinking, instead of eating some food.
But all these are reasons why I tank 60% of the tank, DPS 30% of the time, and heal 10% of the time now, instead of 50/50 tank/heal that I did from vanilla to the start of DF. Too many bad tanks that watch some MDI and think they can do that.
This⦠while moving out of it to start taking more damage from the fresh mobs they decided to pullā¦
Warlocks with the voidwalker out or just the wrong pet in general. It annoys me as both a warlock main and the occasional evoker healer
I wonder how many people know that SLT isnt some kind of rare boss mechanic? Certainly not enough. Iāve seen it avoided like the plague.
- playing AGAINST the team instead of FOR.
- pretending the game revolves around them.
- thinking THEY are the ONLY ones with cooldowns, etc.
- Pulling for the tank after hes asked them to stop.
- Pulling 6 mobs knowing we have a dead body or two.
- screaming āMUH FACEROLLZ!!ā, then pulling 2 rooms of fearing mobsā¦running back after the wipe and doing it again
- Blaming me for DPS running off on side missions out of my healing range and dying. lmao
Im sure I can think of more.
- hunters crying about their pets not being healed lol. When they have the best pet heal in the game, they just dont want to keybind it lmao
The last one rarely happens to me but its easily one of the most confusing things to deal with. Not only is it not your job to run ahead and pull mobs, but also how do you not notice youāre the only one fighting that pack and youāll probably die if the rest of the group doesnt decide to follow you in that moment.
I think that the most annoying thing is youre then only one kicking and CC. Thats not exclusive to healers tho. That sucks for anyone, but it sucks even more for the healers healing through avoidable damage when they could be using that time to deal extra damage or use more mana efficient spells, or even save those CDs for unavoidable boss dmg
Or getting repeatedly asked for a brez when youāre playing as a class that doesnt have one (a real one)
Just to preface this, Iām trying to do this genuinely and not be a jerk, but the saying is āpet peeveā. As for mine, DPS that donāt use personals or consumes until after Iāve dragged their hide out of the fireā¦thus dumping a 5 min CD into the overheal meter.
maybe he has a pet legume?
it could happen⦠tiny and green, round and cuteā¦
