did you know that the grass outside is green? oh and also it doesn’t mow it’s self.
Laundry also does not fold itself, sadly.
ya, the grass is not green for me, it is dead and if I mow it, it will be at best straw.
Ive been out in the garden here and there thru the day. All those plants wont water themselves lol
And somehow never ends, no matter how much planning goes into it, there is still a pile to be done.
The grass/weeds in my yard are literally like 4-5 feet tall. I had to take a machete to it so the mailman could reach my porch since he just started leaving packages in the drive way.
Grass gives me hives, most botanicals do.
stares at grass from safely indoors
Same here but no machete. Wheelchair ramp in the driveway is easy enough to go up. No one here is capable of cutting our particular yard(I’m disabled and can’t get the dang thing out of the basement and down the hill, other can’t walk well) and the company we use is booked til frigging middle of next month.
Just dust and dead weeds outside… Has been 100+ with a relative humidity of 12% for the last 30 days. Though, the wildfire smoke from the surrounding mountains has died down so I can see for about 30 miles now. That is a bonus.
You’re absolutely right! My grass is mowed and I specifically waited until maintenance day to do it lol. Isn’t it sad that I rearrange my schedule for maintenance days? Not really, I am retired, 100% VA and taking a break from my film industry stuff only to have nothing but time to browse the forums and catch up on other things around the house.
perks of moving to the desert.
all I see outside is snow.
It stays in the bucket until all clothes have been worn.
I wish I could go outside, lol…
Some thick and filthy Canadian wildfire smoke came in just in time to basically “cancel” all my usual outdoors-y activities this week
Gonna be a boring week cooped up inside for sure unless the winds change direction and blow this annoying crap somewhere else
Yep, same here. Everything is brown weeds, dead and dusty. It’s around 100 right now, humidity has inched up to 19% was 6% with I got up this morning.
Most of the wildfire smoke has gone around us (we are kind of in the middle of a wind vortex due to topography. ) But there is a fire 14 miles from us, still not completely contained. And 3 a bit further away.
Gotta love Southern California! Can’t turn on the AC just yet as I would exceed my allowed electricity limit… Then pay a penalty which I can’t afford. lol
Or in my case, piled up on top of the dryer.
Mowing is not needed. Buy a goat.
lol do you think the draenei of wow eat grass like the goats do?
Ive seen one of those robot ones mowing the yard by me. They work well as long as there are no obstacles.
No green grass for me atm as my area is going into a drought pattern, so some things are turning brown.
