Thieves! Dont give Blizzard your Credit Card!

Beware using credit cards with Blizzard/Activision. They double charged me last month, and even after providing my actual statement, they refused to credit back or give me more time.

Thats what banks are for. File a claim.

If they really posted an incorrect charge, discuss it with your credit card bank.

Lol

I will have too, I just want to make others aware, so they can monitor their cards, or by time cards elsewhere.

If true thats enough of a reason never to do business with them ever again. At the very least. You should contact your bank or CC company immediatly.

Its also good incentive* to become WoW rich so you can take your card off file and buy tokens for gold. I did that a while back.

That would be great, I wish I had the know-how and time to do so. I am only an ‘hour or so’ every couple days type of player.

Fair enough.

Did you actually get 2 charges posted/debited to your account or was it just a double hold?
Double holds happen all the time, but any bank worth doing business with only approves one of the charges.

Despute it with the cc company. Blizz SHOULD give you a credit if they double charge.

They’ve had my card info for years. Never once had an issue. Perhapes you don’t know the difference between a hold and a charge? You can always dispute a charge you think is unjust. CC’s have worked the same for decades…

Prepaid cards are your friends … don’t ever use CCs online … at most use prepaid CCs from the supermarket

Thats the beauty of a credit card take it up with the company they will hand blizz their rears on a platter.

Ive been using a card for years with zero issues. Shift happens, work with your bank and dispute the charge. :man_shrugging:

We all know who is behind this… :cn:
