Beast Mastery
- Aspect of the Wild now causes Cobra Shot to hit 2 extra targets (was 1), to a total of 3 targets.
- Master Handler cooldown reduction value increased to 4 seconds (was 2 seconds).

the devs have a dartboard for when they need to design a hunter ability and 50% of that dartboard is “make it passively apply serpent sting”

Buffing a weak talent is a good thing.

None of this really addresses Hunter survivability in pve to unavoidable dmg, Blizz are you blind!

One of these days that dart is gonna make MM a melee spec

Utter garbage “make Cobra Shot great again”, it’s a filler that no one cares about and I dont want to care about…fun. Does anyone care about shadowbolt, frost bolt, firebolt or lighting bolt?
More pets like we want more out yay!! Fun Not…
Add a reduction to a CD no one cares about woot…soo much fun
How about it you Kill command a target bleeding you spread that bleeds to all targets in beast cleave range stacks included
Or if you beast cleave a target bleeding you infect them with serpent sting.
And if we kill command a bleeding target with serpent sting it gives us Beast Cleave
If you kill shot a bleeding target you also kill shot all target regardless if they are under 20% reduced after 5 target.
Or just give us Wild Spirits back ffs.
And for the love of quivers I cant see, give us Killer Instinct baseline…our execute is pathetic
Not saying these are the BEST ideas (other peole will think they are crap Im sure) but I came up with them in 2 mins and imbh still better than the rubbish Blizz devs are pushing out.

wouldn’t you run a pet anyways for intim/trap setups plus pet utility?
idk anything about MM sorry if it’s not an option
In pvp yes, in pve no. You run a lust pet, summon it, lust - then dismiss the pet. No worries, its just they keep doing goofy things with the class tree and talents that make no sense.
Lol. Yeah dude. Can’t they think about a better “fix”?
Wild spirits was a good idea. Give that back !
The inherent flaw is having to rely on the pet to deal damage. All other damage specs including demology , have the damage mainly coming out of the player.
In this case, BM has all the damage coming out from the pet. Kill command. Stomp. Beast cleave.
So for AOE, it requires your pet to hit mobs around it. This leads to alot of BM hunter problems because your pet has IQ of 10.
Thus they are now trying to move that part of the damage back out from the pet and back into player casted spells.
Example : Cobra Shot. Barbed shot.
Basically Cobra Shot becomes the new Aimed Shot.
Or an healer spec and we shoot people to heal them.
pew pew pew green numbers.
This isn’t true. Demonology has 60-70% of its damage coming from pets.

Where are the other announced buffs?
This is just the first batch of a major patch. So they’ll be more changes. Can’t guarantee they’ll be buffs, but there will be more changes lol

I don’t think RoS competes with Hunter’s Avoidance. And it’s basically a dead talent for MM (for pve). They really need to go back to the drawing board with that one.

If they want this branch to work, they’re going to need to do something about the pathing of Cobra Senses to Aspect of the Wild. A path that prioritizes Cobra Shot, shouldn’t require a talent that greatly diminishes the number of Cobra Shots used.
Also a bit worried this is going to put us in a position of an optimal build for single target that does next to no AoE, and an optimal build for AoE that does very little single target.

I can’t think of any situation Roar of Sacrifice would be used over Hunter’s Avoidance in PvE. Making it a choice node is intended to give better options for PvP. Although, removing it and Dragonscale Armor is going to greatly reduce the number of actually useful PvP talents.
Hopefully they take a second look at Dire Beast: Hawk and Dire Beast: Basilisk, because I don’t think they’re aware that they do jack all for damage. Hell, Basilisk’s tooltip talks of massive damage, then hits for like 7k. lol

I do think they’ll take a pass at other PvP talents with this change.
It’s a great change for pvpers because roar is basically mandatory. I think it benefits survival the most, as they have the best PvP talents. Hopefully they make some more hard choices for us…
