They're going back on LFG!

Not sure how you came to the conclusion that RDF destroys server community, because it didn’t, and sure won’t in Classic because there is no server identity.

I feel yah working nights ended my raiding career with guilds, so I just lvl and run dungeons. People keep saying it ruined the social aspect. That’s completely false players have changed and want to clear content as fast as possible.

this is entirely on you if you believe that.

Nothing about not using LFD forces me to do that.

And inversely if you like using WoW as a glorified chat room nothing about LFD prevents you from doing that either.

Same with you believing that RDF or anything cross server ruined your imaginary community. Maybe a game like Maple Story is better for you?

tells me all i need to know.

Makes me think maybe I should move from my low pop server. The dungeon finder was good for a quick go on alt before be etc.

That’s a general feeling in my guild. We were talking about it in disc today. Can easily do dungeons all day and not get any “social” aspect from anyone. Most the time you’ll get “inturupt x ability” and nothing more

The easiest path is always the most popular, regardless of its impact both good or bad.

If Blizzard added a vendor selling BiS loot for 10 gold would nobody use it because their morals on what is good for the game trump?

I mean everyone here seems to hate mage boosting and want to find people to group with, yet mage boosting is still extremely popular and forming leveling dungeons is not. I wonder why?

if blizzard added full t6 for $100 bucks, people sure as heck would be buying it regardless of how bad literal pay to win is. seems like people don’t really care about the health of the game.

Apples and oranges. You’re suggesting that some people pay to skip playing the game. Too much of that and eventually people will just quit. With the RDF you’re just changing the way a group is formed. You still have to play the game, just without staring at the lfg channel and often not finding a group to play the game at all.

Or we’re capable of determining the difference between buying loot and an in game tool available to anyone for free that helps a lot of people find groups.

It’s an extreme example to show the ridiculous nature of ignoring that most people follow a path of least resistance no matter how fun or not fun it is.

Just like my leveling example with boosts vs finding groups. Everyone wants to get groups together and nobody wants to mage boost, yet the complete opposite is what happens because mage boosts are the path of least resistance. I mean this issue is one of the major features of LFD for leveling. It changes the path of least resistance.

neither are healthy things.

You need mental help. I’m not saying this in a directly negative way, but your cognitive abilities must be broken.

you’re optimistic.

Run dungeons with your mates or use LFG channel if you want to socialize. I still plan on using the chat for daily heroics or specifics. Why worry about others that don’t have normal schedules or just want to run dungeons?

“whales”? you mean the $15 that everybody gives ?

Because there is no RDF mage boosts are often the only way to actually do the dungeon. I think there’d be less mage boosts if there was a RDF. I think people would really like to play this game.

if i say by phase 1 people will argue…lol.
