I swear the people complaining about lfd only have experience from newer retail. The tank ratio was a major problem with tbc and wrath and dual specs and lfd helped alleviate. It didnt fully fix it but at the same time tanks were not selling runs

I heard one of the devs said on stream that they were adding murlocs as a playable race for TBC. For reals. Trust me. Double super promise.

I am all for lfd. But it was not a solution right away. Before they went to cross server lfd, the wait for dps was just as long. Maybe longer in a lot of cases. Many now give up after an hour. So less ppl looking makes your wait shorter. When you can run around and quest and farm stuff whike yku are in lfd que so more ppl keep waiting. I remember the ques being over 2 hours. Bkizz added special rewards for tanks and healers to get them.to que more. Basically, bkizz paid the tanks so u didnt have to. So then you had tanks like me that would not que uo until thw extra reward was showimg. It was instant que for tanks so i ran whenever i wanted.
I mean dps queues at 80 could still be really bad 20-40 min were common especially late wrath because the rush was already long since gone.
Retail even complains about “tank shortages”…but if queue you will eventually get one.
I can get a tank in 5 minutes right now but it costs 200g and every blue and green item.
Back in wrath i did sell tanking services but that was because halls of reflection was a mess with pugs
So according to that tweet they want the people who don’t want dungeon finder to stay and the people who do want it to either accept it or leave? That sounds real nice.
I think it was not a good Idea to remove LFG tool, I am a casual player I won’t be able to get my stuff done on time because as other people we have to work or study.
There is a big spam of people looking for groups in the chat, there is soo much spam that you won’t be able to see if someone is trying to do the same dungeon you want.
Low level players have to rely on people doing boosts.
If teleporting to the dungeon is an issue, why don’t leave LFG to create the groups, once done everyone should run to the dungeon by themselves.

If no one is in the lfg channel that means that the RDF is the more popular system that the players like more than the lfg channel.

But at least when you queue you will get the tank. Do hodir or tuskar dailies. Hunt the proto drake, craft, farm mats. Queue will pop at some point. Staring at /4 while people use it for their own personal troll message board is not fun. At least in TBC classic I can ignore dungeons and LFG. Wrath dungeons are more important especially if you alt.

It’s time we give up and accept that they’re hell-bent on absolutely sinking this game.
Whatever random assortment of changes they decide on is what we’ll get. Whether the steaming pile is worth playing or not probably won’t become apparent until the prepatch, with all the flip-flopping the devs like to do.

Teleporting to the dungeon isn’t an issue, its just made up by anti-RDF’ers to try and add to their non existent argument. They’ve single handedly lost probably about 30% of the WOTLK population and killed any remaining social aspects of WOTLK.
