They're going back on LFG!

Well not really because classic never attracted new players
removing rdf craps on returning players, since everyone who is currently playing is happy to spam lfg/ has a guild
or people like me who were basically playing this whole time for wotlk rdf

Server locked LFD would solve the boosting issues, solve the community issues, and also give people more exposure to other players on their own server, that they can then talk to later on in whispers, guild up with, raid with etc.

This company is so dirty.

Tell me you’re just doing it for the money, without telling me you’re just doing it for the money.

The ten 10 people out of thousands who are happy about no LFD make them feel comfortable with their decision?

Blizzard needs to get their heads out of their ask and put their big boy pants on and stop pretending like this decision was a community based one.

I completely agree, keep it server locked will also keep you accountable for your reputation.

Only downside of keeping it to server only is the insane amount of dead servers - I think a decent argument can be made by those playing on them.

I should also add I’ve built up a very healthy reputation within my server, with a large network of players that I actually won’t have any difficulty with finding groups to do dungeons with, and I still think LFD is a super important implementation.

Connected realms (and the LFD across the whole connected realm) would solve that issue though. And they’re going to have to do Connected Realms regardless, because even without LFD those servers are still dead.

and its going to cost blizzard a lot of boost money…lmao.

I have a WoW sh*t list on a simple text document with dozens of people on it from the 2 servers I main on, yet their bad behavior didn’t stop any of from buying their way into GDKPs and getting T6 geared. Clearly reputation isn’t an issue and the problems didn’t start with LFD, otherwise they wouldn’t have done the things they did.

I doubt it. Click the twitter link above.

typical smooth-brain take. lfd isn’t lfr. one is what truly damaged the game, the other simply made easy content quicker to jump into for dailies, as it should be.

God I hope so

It probably damaged the part of the content you care about because for most of the casuals LFR was here to make it easier to raid.

I’ll the same answer as LFD defender “nothing prevent you to do raid content with your friend/guild or making you own raid with LFR” it was just a “story mode” difficulty and didn’t removed normal/heroic raids.

Yep.

70 boost doensn’t help when you can’t get groups after that.

as many 58 tbcc boosties found out.

first weeks of tbcc if you weren’tt naxx fit you weren’t crap,

TBCC goingf to wrath will have 3 raids up as current. ZA, BT and Sunwell.

No gear from these 3. you will be deemed worthless really. less than worthless. Just like in tbcc. for normal ramparts…that was the “funny” part.

I did when it was live, quite often, and it wasn’t a disaster. Challenging? Yes, sometimes certainly. And that was the appeal.

Where are these communities in TBC. Everybody is raid logging. No one doing heroics or leveling alts

TBC is virtually dead going into phase 4. All I see are Players selling gold boosts in chat. You may have large communities on one or two megaservers. But the smaller servers are ghost towns.

You gotta pump those number up, Those are rookie numbers!

@OP, as much as I hope you’re right, do you have a credible source for this info?

So everyone will use it and you won’t find lfg groups but no one wants it ans everyone should play the way you want them to. Stay trash kid

I’m not buying it. Without a published, credible source, we have to take Birmingham at his word and until further notice, no LFD. That means I will send the strongest message to Blizzard that I can: unsub.

at least keep LFG for sub level 70 characters… so dumb that they are essentially forcing you to buy a boost. unreal greed.

What’s wrong with me buying a novelty mount? It has zero effect on your gameplay. I never bought one in Retail, but if its cool enough looking I would now.
