They Twist the Knife

Every patch for Torghast they are buffing enemies and making the entire thing more impossible to solo for the classes that struggle with Torghast. Not only have we been stabbed In the back but now they are twisting the knife! And the fools who play classes that can solo It easy will come out and say how happy they are about It. The only option now Is to abandon any class that can’t solo Torghast. And start all over. Why would they make a section of the game that would force players to do this? And then make It even worse after launch. This Is crazy, or hateful. I don’t know which one.

(edit) Btw we all know Paladins will be happy about this crap

What class is struggling with Torghast at the moment?

From what I saw they were buffing mobs, but from my experience it’s the boss that ruins solo runs.

Maybe that’s for the best. It’s better for the game to tell you early that you won’t win than have you spend an hour killing everything just to fail on floor 6.

Rogue, many have told me that Hunter does as well. But I’m not certain.

Go get raid gear. There are EIGHT levels. Some of them should be gearchecks

Step at me Troll when you have tried to solo these as rogue. And to @Mortis, yes the final boss after a certain layer Is what Is causing most of the problem.

Anyone that doesn’t get a hpt + anima of any kind in higher layers.

Both are fine ~ I’ve done level 6 on hunter and even our slightly ‘pleb’ guild rogue has done a 5.

When you aren’t generally good at the mechanics then it’s always worth going for item/stacks buff that make it impossible to lose.

Often it’s combinations you wouldn’t have thought of before (example; torghast gives a buff that lets any damage a DH does refresh immolation aura and wink there’s a conduit that increases the damage of immolation aura by 13% each time it ticks stacking 10 times).

That’s fair, it is most certainly what we’d consider a roguelike.

I do full clears, select all the powers carefully. I do the boss mechanics and CC. So you can’t tell me I don’t play the game well. I know for a fact that I do. And I won’t be sold short.

Join me in a break from the game.

My sub is running until January, but Shadowlands disappoints me and its abundantly clear that nobody really cares.

The happy are happy and nobody’s listening to the unhappy.

Once a person accepts that, it’s much easier to move on. It’s tempting to think with so many topics and so much intricacy, that someone will care about how we feel about the game, but the pattern seems set:

If you’re happy, have fun. If you aren’t… there’s the door.

That sounds so harsh, but again, once you accept “the happy are fine, and the unhappy won’t be helped” it’s a comforting sentiment.

No I will not just leave honestly. I aim to see the story through. And If I can have my voice heard about this matter I will.

I’m just not doing it. I dumped the lead-in Torghast quests and dropped tailoring/enchanting. It’s not worth it. If the game collapses without the Torghast grind, then I won’t play the game and move on.

I’m sorry but nothing I said has made that implication. Though given how defensive you are about it makes me wonder…

its actually level 6 max this week, it opens up more tomorrow

I literally just saw a dozen people in another thread claiming floors were full of mind-numbingly boring trash. So yeah, they get a buff.

I’m still finding it fun on my DK and mage. Pretty sure all non-rogue complaints are just weak.

Guess you skipped over the part where they buffed a sh*t ton of amima powers in Torghast… not just small buffs but massive buffs (i.e. things that were formerly 20% damage boosts are now 100% damage boosts).

And best of all, none of the last bosses were buffed (i think?), only the trash. so that is where alot of bad players struggled, on the last boss… so now with the massive anima overhaul, this means even bad players should be steamrolling the final boss.

I play Outlaw Rogue. It seems like I will be being forced to reroll to something else. Setting me back a ton.

They just need to make better anima power for the classes that need help. The reason I do well on ret is because the powers that we get throughout the tower helps us tremendously as we get higher. By the time I hit the boss I am usually doing at least over 50% more dmg to them, and at most over 100% dmg to them, usually kill bosses in less than 30s.

But that because the anima powers are tuned really well for some classes and terrible for others.

lol havent you always? Outlaw’s always been the worse rogue spec since Legion. It’s never been at the top of any pve or pvp chart. usually always at the bottom or average at most.

Tell that to my runecloth wrappings :frowning:
Rip my cheesy boys.

Probably fair though. My little 155 mage shouldn’t be able to waltz through layer 5 like that.
