Addons like weakaura/hekili dbm bigwigs are literally playing the game for you.
Hopefully theyd either nerf these addons OR not allow them at all.

But DBM does not play the game for you lmao. All it does is feed you the information in a way that is actually useful.

The only place addons should be banned is in the worthless esports the AWC and MDI might be interesting if the teams weren’t allowed to use addons.

this dead horse is getting beat on again? can’t people READ the other posts about the same darn issue before making another useless one? The fix is simple. don’t like addons? don’t use them. Me using them isn’t affecting YOUR playing at all. If you stand in bad and die, that’s YOUR fault then, if you get one shot from boss frontal: that’s YOUR fault again. I mean if you bad the addons are going to help you anyways.

No they don’t. You’re either regurgitating what Asmongold says without giving it a second thought, or I don’t think you know what any of those addons do. There’s maybe an argument to doing something with weakauras, but suggesting they get rid of all addons is like using a chainsaw to make an incision instead of scalpel.

They also don’t play for you but give you extra tools to be successful. I too can pay attention to emotes and boss animations but don’t want to.

As long as they keep in roleplaying addons. Even when i still hardcore raided i stopped using raiding addons cuz they are a big crutch.
Much better to learn the fight n be aware of what’s happening instead of zoning out. Having the attention span of a goldfish ain’t good, which will leak into your real life world as well.

Why do people try to control what others do? If you don’t like addons don’t use them, if you like them use them. Stop trying to control other people’s gameplay.

None of those “literally” or figuratively play the game for you. You are free to not use addons.
People need to stop trying to take things away from others that they don’t like.
Just mind your own business and play the game the way you want and stop trying to interfere with the way other people want to play the game.
It is ok for others to have interests, activities, and thoughts that you don’t like. You don’t have to be a part of those things, but that doesn’t mean you get to take them away from others. This advice applies in game and out.
