My guild barely came back this phase, and it’s all because of incredible difficulty of the raids and dungeons.
Noone asked for smaller MC.
Noone asked for a new difficult dungeon
Noone asked for 40 man raids to be removed. Since 40 mans allow for fun to be had and no try harding.
They should have just listened to Asmon and kept everything as easy as possible so that people can just enjoy things rather than be challenged pointlessly.

its probably only difficult because people don’t know it yet
i did 10 man raiding is in every other version of wow and is more accessible to players that don’t have hours to play every day. that’s why p1 and 2 were so successful.
asmon is an idiot who thinks only the top parsers in a group deserve loot even though everyone helped kill the boss.
The fact of the matter is, boys will be boys. Guys love to swing their thang around and have a peeing contest. I believe it killed my guild too, as 2/3 groups were running ST in 4+ hours lmfao… the third group was always clearing in an hour. I did ST on XP launch yesterday with an amazing guild/group I never met, and wow. Put a lot in perspective for me.
I love a lot of my guildies but good god, if you’re a husband/dad or have other life priorities and you DONT understand what it takes to be a raid leader, then don’t run a guild. My leader straight up left to cata…. Seldomly posts in discord to get people hyped…. Cool dude but lame leader and it’s sad. 0 officers.
Anyways, there is a middle ground. I like to parse but anytime I share an opinion someone whispers me my Warcraft logs as if trying to make me sound like I shouldn’t have an opinion…? It truly is cancerous and it made me realize the players do ruin the game. I can be a huge doomer but I’m not whispering people their opinion is wrong because of their logs:joy:
I think a lot of people are fine with the changes you mentioned. I’m a p4 doomer so I couldn’t care less anymore, I’m just wondering how much more elitist this phase will be.

There’s a distinct difference between YOU didn’t want and NO ONE wanted. You seem to view your position as the default and the standard. The reality is, you’re never 100% of anything on an opinion. There are absolutely people that did want the things that were done here. You, do not think they should have done that. Others will disagree.
