They should bring back Cata triage healing

Health bars slowly ticking down, smaller heals that don’t take you from 20% to full in 1 GCD, fast mana inefficient heal, slow efficient heals etc

Cata had the best healing and tanking model.

That’s how they could fix it, but it would require a total redesign of how encounter difficulty is tuned. It wouldn’t be compatible with scaling damage in mplus, unless they made the “scaling” just increase the number of avoidable damage getting dumped everywhere to turn it into a bullet hell.

When they deleted mana as a resource, they deleted a tuning lever. Which is unfortunate, making the healer choose between efficient and inefficient as the skill expression side of things would have been way easier to balance.

But healers whined about mana being a resource, and now they get whack a mole half second reaction time healing instead.

Their complaints about tank self healing will have similar hilarious consequences in the form of increasing their healing troubles.

I did… while it was current content.

Been there done that.

it was removed for a reason…everyone HATED IT. unless you think getting yelled at by dps because you ran out of mana to heal them fun.

You can always kick people for dissing on you, regardless of reason.

I kinda miss the resource management mechanics most casters had in the game, but they could be really unfun at times.

More dungeon mobs should just melee the tank, please stop giving dungeon mobs so many mechanics. A regular size pull should never need more than 10 stops.

That or wait to apply some of the dungeon mob mechanics to +12 so healers aren’t healing a bunch of fail damage and doing as much hps in a 3 as they would be in a good 10.

What, and make healers think about what they’re doing?
