Everytime I join it’s completely imbalanced and nobody communicates. People just run around and do whatever they want. Pvp also ruins the pve game by diverting resources away from pve content like raids and dungeons which is a detriment to the game.
I don’t know why they bother with arena or even AWC since barely anyone even knows they exist. There’s probably a tiny fraction of the playerbase that actively pvps and cares about getting gladiator or whatever or any of the mounts. Add to the incredible toxicity of it as well and you’d have to wonder why they even bother with anything more than normal battlegrounds.
Seriously it’s such a tiny portion of the playerbase at this point.

Solo queue solo shuffle has been wildly popular.
Also, I see lots of people riding their DF and shadowlands gladiator mounts all the time.

PvP was once very popular, but Blizzard never balanced it to eliminate burst damage, which is worse than ever. Everyone gave up because of the powercreep that scared everyone away.

Yeah a lot of it is a bunch of heavy addon users and likely some exploiters/cheaters abusing the game anyway they can. Macros just make it even worse where they have all these abilities chained to blow you up.

your take is a complete joke. Dont engage in random battlegrounds and random epic battlegrounds. They are literally impossible to balance because of the use of consumables.

Because if your read your own post, you claim that PVP takes away from pve. Well you arent an elite pve player based on my checks. So why should your opinion on the matter at hand even be taken into consideration

PvP is only about ~5% of the entire playerbase, and this new battleground we got in TWW is the first one in about eight years, since end of Legion/early BfA’s Seething Shore.
I always hated the focus on arenas, very happy they are shifting to battlegrounds instead.
I wish Epic BGs got a rework, they could use one.
WoW PvP is niche and always will be, because of the knowledge you need to have on other classes’ new abilities and whatnot- it’s simply too overwhelming for newcomers.
It’s always gonna be relatively neglected as well, compared to PvE which is what WoW provides most of.

There’s been one new BG in 3 expansions, and the pvp team is separate from pve, so no, it’s not detrimental to raids and dungeons.
