They just got rid of Gallywix?

In all fairness, this is why he’s a good villain, he’s a one-dimensional villain done right. It’s a testament to him that we all love to HATE him…

Because a good villain is either someone you love to hate, or hate to love.

Would be nice if Baine happened be standing nearby and Gallywix’s mecha exploding taking him out too.

He had one he actually is one of the few big bads that are legit known why there bad not some 50 iq play.

I’m glad Gallywix is gone, This feels like a long road; not a perfect road, I’ll give you that, but as a semi-goblin player this feels as good a bookend as we can get from current blizz.
I myself for some reason was kinda disappointed in Gallywix being the villain of this patch actually. But, somehow the rehashed plot of overthrowing the tyrant felt quite compelling here. I don’t think Gallywix could’ve gotten an expansion, but at least it wasn’t a tiny questline like the recent Gilneas one; Now that should’ve been a patch!

I should remind you all that he is allegedly ‘dead’, be mindful how you speak else you may find yourself in court.

good, sick of this goblin crap anyways.

One thing I’ll say is, we saw him in Tazavesh and I was hoping we’d see more of that, mingling with ethereals and brokers, but this expansion we only saw him interact with Xalatath and get robbed by the ethereals.

Quests are good and fun and all but when you look at the whole picture the storyline is only whelming.

But he was a character I loved to hate… I won’t miss him. I’m hoping with this new development the goblins don’t become lame/indistinguishable from the rest of the Horde. I like their whole shtick.

Technically Gallywix got rid of himself.

I hope when he died, Pelegos the lame donkey arbiter changed his mind and decided maybe some souls do just deserve the Maw and chucked him down there where he slammed into Sylvanas and knocked her into a bottomless hole along with himself

And somehow there is the most diabolical feces involved that is also with them for eternity even if I can’t come up with a canonical lore way to explain it. Also Garrosh and his anima remnants which somehow still maintain sentience and senses gets swept up in this too and all 3 tumble down this endless void suffering for literally ever.

many such people running the world and theyre fine  mostly.
i can think of at least 1 that wasnt “fine” recently lol

The only complaint I had was that his end was rathet… weak. Yeah, it fits that he’d end up going out due to his own anger, arrogance and recklessness, but not even a single explosion? How anticlimatic.

That being said, yeah, lots of people figure he could still come back due to Shadowlands shennanigans. His random cameo appearance in Tazavesh could easily end up being a deal made with the brokers to smuggle his soul out as an emergency last resort or something.

They showed him lying there but they could easily do a cinematic in the future of him getting up. Merely having been knocked unconscious. For some reason him just going “Ahhh!” when a thing falls on him doesn’t seem like it would be his final words.

The Horde changed Gallywix for the worse, enabling his greed and thirst for power. While most of blame for BFA (and thus Shadowlands) can be laid at Sylvanas’s feet, Gallywix was not a small player in her schemes, as he was the one who kicked off the Azerite arms race.

The Horde changed Gazlowe for the better, showing him that Goblins could still be good at what they’re good at and that partnerships need not be zero sum and that NOT acting in your immediate self-interest often has long-lasting benefits.

Undermine and the Goblins story wasn’t about Gallywix as a person, it was about Goblin society as a whole. Gallywix could not survive the change in Goblin society that Gazlowe represented.

I do find it funny that people will see something obviously evil, see parallels to something they like, then decide the obviously evil thing must not be evil because they can’t be wrong about liking the thing they do.

I would imagine most didn’t even know his first name was Jastor until the raid came out.
