Hey, everyone!
Hope it’s not over. Don’t even know, now, getting rid of Tirion doesn’t look so inglorious, or for example, of a jailer.
How about the trial? It’s a very bad habit to throw characters out of the game’s plot so easily.

Gallywix was a tyrant overthrown by his own people that’s been building since Cata. That’s the trial. It was a decent-sized questline for the ending of this storyline, especially for a patch.
No matter how bad he was, he was with us for ten years, and we could have given the character more time and attention, a character arc.
Ten years too long. He should have died on the Lost Isles.
He was in the spotlight for this xpac and BFA. That’s more than a lot of characters get. I mean, he had a full story arc with what I consider a good resolution for what he was.
Gallywix’s ‘arc’ was that he was a pretty rotten guy, even by goblin standards. There doesn’t have to be redemption for there to be an ‘arc’.
Gallywix’s entire time in the game has been feeding his own greed, often working against the player even when on the same faction, so a lot of players want him dead. In that way he’s been built up quite nicely.
His defining traits are also easy to find in other goblin characters, so there isn’t much loss in disposing of him.
What is there to miss?
imo a redemption would actually be a huge disservice to his character
You may have heard a few rumors about me. “Gallywix became trade prince by blowing up, selling out, or just selling everyone he knew. When Mount Kajaro erupted, Gallywix had the only boat, and he charged refugees the low, low price of their life savings. He packed the stars of the goblin aristocracy like sausages in the hold and tried to sell them into slavery. That monster Gallywix betrayed his entire race for a bazillion macaroons.”
Kinda terrible, huh?
Guess what? It’s all true. Why would I lie about that? I never cover up the things I’m proud of. If the world was gonna split in half tomorrow, I’d buy the Dark Portal, slap a toll booth on it, and charge refugees the last of their pocket change, the rings off their fingers, a bite of their sandwiches, and a contractual obligation to build me a rocket palace in the skies of Nagrand. It’s the goblin way! Supply and demand! Deal with it!
This is Gallywix, a huge evil jerk and unashamed of it.
A character that wasn’t cookie cutter like the rest of them.
It’s a pity that you don’t understand what a trial is.
The world is not divided only into black and white, in general, I will not argue, better get ready for school tomorrow.
He’s literally a cookie cutter evil capitalist caricature
Did you not do the quests? The trial was held in the streets. There’s no need for something formal for every villain.
I said “like the rest of them.” Meaning, the rest of the faction leaders.
He will be back whenever we finally fight Xal. He will be some void infused zombie Gallywix in her raid.
It’s funny seeing folks coming out in support of villains.
About right for times we live in I guess.
If you played a goblin, you would have seen his character arc already and knew his downfall was soon to be coming.
Most “trials” in WoW: Champions! Go kill (him/her/it)!!!
Good work Champions! Ya saved Azeroth!
Seems like Gallywix got the standard trial by combat.
Well yeah because he’s not a real person.
Not sure why you’re trying to turn this into a real world equivalency but I would say that is the actual sign of the times we live in.
Great to see you Tovi.
You always have such a great attitude lately, man I wish you’d just quit and leave us in peace.
