So in their post bliz has stated the reason they don’t want “non mythic raiders,” to have a mythic ring like Jastors I because it would make any gear we get next season irrelevant.
Okay good point if you have a mythic raid ring and you only do delves you may never replace it in season 3.
Guess what… I know plenty of delvers who are still using their circle ring from season 1 now and will not be replacing it in season 2 at all.
They actually said this, when refering to gear with a lower effect ilvl too. Circe’s went 19 levels above max gear and myth 6. The trinkets go 6 levels above myth 6, and are the max gear level.
Bro you can literally craft an entire suit of 678 gear and also do 10’s to get Mythic Trinkets.
They try and spin it like it would be so overpowered but yet next season, the entire Liquid Raid Team as well as thousands of other nolofe sweaty mythic raiders will be in 100% BIS gear from this season on day 1 allowing them a massive advantage over less hardcore guilds and somehow doesnt manage to break the game.
This is like the king handing all of his lords a fat turkey and then sprinkling bread crumbs all over the peasants and saying “we could feed you more sustainably but we dont want to feed you too much because starvation makes you work hard for us to earn more money”.
They are straight up doing this to boost the boosting community and WoW token sales.
Blizzard: The king at being entirely contradictive at any corner that suits their current excuse. And somehow being entirely oblivious to how bad it sounds.
The funny thing is the obvious solution is just bump the starting ilvl of season 3 up a bit.
Bump up the 11.1.7 catchup gear up a bit as well, to help the transition for alts and returning players. It’s not that hard. They’re making it hard. Lol.
Perhaps, but the wording sound to me and maybe I’m interpreting wrong.
But the wording sounds like “giving you something this season that will last you through next season would be silly we would never do anything like that.”
I know it’s hard to admit error, but had they said “we realized with Circe circlet that we made a mistake locking up one spot for an entire season, we don’t want to repeat that again,” then the line makes sense.
