They destroyed vendor prices of older raid loot. RIP fun

Fun detected, fun nerfed. Items that used to sell for 80g now sell for barely 20g. The devs really need to rethink their priorities if they believe this was something that had to be fixed.

it was a bug at the time and people that reported on it said expected to be nerfed

…What fun is being nerfed here?

It was neat while it lasted, but I really doubt anyone expected “3000g for clearing Antorus on any difficulty” to be intentional.

Like “just” literally?

I ran 3 mythics about an hour or 2 ago, netted around 10K I thought it was quite odd to be honest.

Ooof yah huge nerf, was like 300g per boss from legion/bfa now less than 100 on m legion bosses

I never knew about it being bugged but glad I ran nighthold then and got an extra penny.

If gold is fun then buy some token, instant fun.

This is pretty common when new expansions come out. It keeps the economy from getting too out of hand.

Good.

Vendoring junk from solo instances adds no value to the economy of the game, no reason it should be richly rewarded. Having gold there just encourages degenerate behavior and even more botting.

Run old stuff for transmog. That’s enough reason.

Define “degenerate behavior” for m e.

Grinding every raid on an endless parade of alts every week. Obviously bad. For both the player experience and the game as a whole, things that drive players to behave like bots are bad.

Gathering requires you to play like a bot. It’s not bad. Actually bots play like humans in that regard.

Doing M+/Raid requires you to play like a bot. Specific movements and actions at specific times. Exactly what bot behavior is.

Your core argument is there, and I do agree to a point. Just wouldn’t call something bot behavior or degenerate. Not when it’s about trying to make gold in an in-game economy that is out of whack.

Not if they want to. It’ll never be the best gold per hour. It might be the laziest? but idk just have a capta test if you run into a dungeon/raid too frequently :stuck_out_tongue:

These are good points.

People who botted old raids fun got nerfed. People complaining really outting themselves here with the bot farms.

If exploiting bugs is fun, you probably have a long road of disappointments ahead of you. On the upside, you might think about getting into politics. You get to make your own exploitable bugs.
