Or, and hear me out here, sometimes unforseen things happen and take longer as a result.
If your baseline expectation is flawless perfect execution of every estimated time frame of every task a) You don’t know what the word estimated means and b) You are in for a very disappointing life as we don’t live in a perfect world.

Just because things aren’t perfect it doesn’t mean the reason is negligence or neglect - you sound like one of those “I don’t want excuses” types who refuses to accept the concept that sometimes crap happens and nobody is to blame.

I remember waaay back in the day.

The servers would be down for 8 hours for regular maintenance every week!

A couple of extra hours to get things right is a good thing.

Watch the news. EAT something. Did you have food today? Some nice thistle tea and a mammoth meal will have you feeling right as rain!

Sorry, 19 years of “Crap Happening” Isnt an excuse, its Lazyness on their part. They should just take all the servers down for 24 hours. Solve all the issues. But the fact they have had “Extended” and other excuses for 19 years…its clearly not a priority for them to deal with.

Yes because 19 years of “crap happening” is understandable to anyone with any IT knowledge at all. Stuff almost ALWAYS happens and its not usually foreseeable.

First time? Do you even remotely how any of this even works? Can you do better? The servers can go down for an entire 30 days and they still owe you nothing because you agree to the ToS.
