/run SetSpecialization(GetSpecialization()==1 and 1 or 1) no longer works
What was the use case for this?
Switch specs with push of a button without having to open the window and select the spec you want to switch too
1 was first spec option 2 was 2nd spec 3 was 3rd and for druids 4 was 4th
Just seems like kind of a superfluous macro? Taking actionbar space for something that’s no more clicks than queueing for a dungeon?
i been using that macro for years it was quicker and easier to switch specs plus depends on class actually almost all classes have tons of empty spots on bars
Maybe there’s a new command for it. Is there a help command for the ingame stuff?
fixed it
/spn Protection or what ever spec your wanting
Thank you so much. I am gonna make buttons for Blood/Frost.
Thanks, I can go fix that in my broker bars.
Idk if you 2 are being sarcastic or not but if not glad i can help was driving me crazy too. Just do /spn then what ever the spec is called
/spn Protection
/spn fury
/spn Arms
I have a macro for each spec on my bar
Not sarcasm at all! I tried to swap specs using my broker bar button and nothing happened. LOL
Now, I can putz around in the coding and fix it. ![]()
/run SetSpecialization(GetSpecialization()==1 and 1 or 1)
Too many 1’s? I’m pretty sure the second and third 1 need to be 2 and 3.
thats how it always was and worked but its different now and posted above, a lot of people in my panda remix community used this macro on the 3rd boss in SoO
Not at all, it’s very useful!
Odd that it would work. As written, the code is just looking for the spec designated 1.
Not at all, it’s very useful!
esp during raids or other stuff it saves time
/spn Protection
Thank you!
Can you specify a loadout in this macro or do you still have to open talent page to check if you have the right one everytime anyway?
can prop use a macro for that
You can designate a loadout in the gear manager to put on when you switch specs. Can only have one per specialization. I think you click the gear icon next to the gear set’s name. Or you right-click. Can’t remember off the top of my head, and I’m working. Have a play with the gear manager UI. It’s on your character sheet, top right corner.
