They Broke It... AGAIN

So they fix the event… it becomes fun and worthy.

Then they add millions of hp to the bosses. For WHAT!?

Fix something then decide to break it on purpose. Goodjob

I’m not so concerned with boss health pools as I am with scaling. In Searing Gorge, Hakkar is just a beast for anyone < 70, and it’s not super fun.

On balance, though, the event is so much better.

also when you join a new event mid-hour it’s always at 100% memories remaining for you regardless of the server, and you get no credit for the first few events until you acclimate to the actual remaining value.

Don’t bother fighting a miniboss below 20% memories remaining, you won’t finish them in time and get nothing, too.

The hp buff isn’t a big deal in my opinion. However, the insane lag during boss fights is - it puts everyone to about 1/3rd of their average dps due to delayed inputs, making the fight take way longer than intended.

Hopefully these lag issues get sorted out soon, it’s a bit frustrating to play. Noticed it’s still happening in Remix dungeons too, sometimes.

I’m seeing more and more either AFK auto attacking, fully AFK, or just sometimes pressing their filler button. Really drags the fight out when some people show up just to double the boss HP.

Yup. They get the tag, increase boss’s HP by 10% then go watch youtube.

Yuh I hopped on to try it after the changes and not in a rush to play again after spending way to long fighting The Lag King like omg.

Blame Blizzard - instead of having lots of little events that go fast and require players to be quick to get credit and rewards, we get this dull mindless scaling where everything is a bullet sponge.

Add in a bit of lag, or as mentioned above a boss like Hakkar that wrecks lowbies, and is it any wonder players are like why bother.

if people were more coordinated they would let a level 70 with a lot of gear get the minibosses to 10% before attacking

imagine that hitting a mob is a detriment and makes it take longer to kill lmao

It’s not even that deep. We shouldn’t be going in there and taking them down in 20 seconds. It also allows people zoning in to keep from missing it. The fight takes less than 6 or 7 minutes and with tons of people doing the memories, it pops almost ever 12 to 15.

I’m not sure how people fall for the bait of limited time Blizz events at all. It’s all just busywork that is rushed out and there is a 100% chance that progress you make early on will be pointless after they fix things.

They prove this with every expansion event. They proved this with remix. They proved it with plunderstorm.

Either wait a week+ after it launches or don’t touch it at all. And yes, at this point it’s on you, not Blizz. You know what they are and they keep reminding you and you’re the reason they can keep getting away with it.

It’s like they don’t want us to have fun playing their game…

I figure it’s just a scaling problem with low levels. First day and Friday on I was seeing plenty of mains out there doing their usual 300-500k dps. I just figured day two it’s all a bunch of levelers because the dps from the group was way way down and there are incessant leveling dings after each zone boss and quest turnin.

Lol yes I tried that on an alt today, did not end well…

Most of the event is small events of just running around right clicking and your average trash mob takes no time to kill. The issue isn’t just bosses have high HP, it’s the people wanting everyone else to do the work. It may be an unperfect event but a lazy player is still a lazy player.

The problem isn’t hp, it’s afk. That’s what they should figure out how to fix. It should be progressive rewards like the other events and no participation for 60 secs should get you ported out.

The HP buffs might be a bit much, but it’s s minor issue. Just needs a bit of tuning. I don’t mind the bosses actually feeling halfway like real encounters instead of literal loot pinatas.

I can deal with a lot of things but it feels like the drops for essences has decreased significantly.
