Also above 2100 75% of classes are ranged. BM, ele, SP, warlock, and even boomkin are dominating. Feral, ret, and enhance are doing fine but windwalker, DK, DH, and fury are hot garbage. Even rogue isn’t doing well

Balance is SO random in this game rofl. They don’t seem to be using any kind of data to perform tuning passes. Since the ret rework in crimson, it’s just huge swings that never really land softly

thats usually what happens after a spec gets nerfed. people playing at a certain mmr suddenly can’t compete the same way they could before

I’m not advocating for rogue buffs. In fact I prefer rogue being weak. But statistics don’t lie, rogue winrate is pretty bad on all 3 specs.
Apoc hits like 300k with all burst up lol.

WW for example is a spec that has historically performed very well in a season while also having a low representation at the high end due to it having a much higher skill gap from floor to ceiling.
With the limited play I’ve done in this xpac I would say WW feels fairly beefy and I’m not full geared or optimized in anyway.
Representation isn’t strength of a spec, never has been.

This is why I refuse to play my DK. One moment they are viable, few weeks later nerfed to oblivion.
I spent my (very limited) gaming time leveling one up. Get him to 80 only to have Bliz cut me completely off at the kneecaps and nerf it to an unplayable level in PVP. Screw this…I refuse to reroll and play that game. For now I unsubbed. Might check back and see if DK is looking better in 6 months. Adios Bliz!
So true. Some games I feel like I’m working my a$$ off and nothing is happening. Mostly just meaningless splash pad damage that even the worst healers can easily heal through.
Rogue is one of the hardest classes to master so it will naturally have a lower win rate than other specs because it isn’t newb friendly. When it’s damage is too high and people can win without using their insane CC kit well, that’s an issue. Currently I would even say their damage for the utility they have access to is still a bit too high on Sub and Sin.
Rogue/feral are literally the strongest melee right now though. If anything rogue is on the chopping block for some dps nerfs, just like Feral.
Outlaw is probably gonna keep picking up speed. Assa is also very good. Dk just actually got consistently nerfed and is rlly squishy with all these bm hunts imo
