I think tank survivability being drawn back wasn’t a terrible decision. I think they jumped the gun a bit (what “testing” were they consulting?), but if given the choice between now and mid-season I would choose now.
The way they went about it is terrible. Brewmaster should have been untouched. The change was sweeping and sloppily done, as it didn’t seem to give much consideration for how different tanks work. I think Brewmaster, which should not have been nerfed at all, will feel their change a lot more than a Protection Warrior. BDK’s entire identity is self-healing. Their change may make them more vulnerable to one-shots, which is a BDK’s one weakness, but if it didn’t they’ll hard live. BDKs also historically needed some healer assistance anyway when they run dry on resources.
So yeah. Dial back tanks if you wish. But do it well.
