Why is it that almost every single new race added (worgen, Pandaren, Vulpera, Dracthyr,) have some kind of furry element to them?
It’s weird to me how there are so many animal like races when there are plenty of non beast like and ugly races to choose from to add. It’s especially gotten bad recently.
Because I don’t want everyone’s fantasies shoved in my face. Fighting an anthropomorphic fox person that literally didn’t exist in the lore until 5 weeks ago just screams bait for $. IDC!
I am aware of its new origins it’s just it had a meaning before that and then one day someone said “sus” and I was like
And everyone says it now and my mind always goes to the first meaning then comes back to the most likely meaning.
Well OP…
Seeing all in perspective, in the alliance you have human, fat human, small humanoid, really small humanoid, really small robotic humanoid, small pointed ear humaoid and tall pointed ear humanoid (like yourself)…
Why don’t you let people play a fantasy race in a fantasy game?
I mean, the usual suspects of dancing with low clothes in the mail boxes asking gold are usually one of those humanoid races and not the others.
Hey, high elf here, and I say because they are anthropomorphic animal humanoids, that’s why . . . also variety is the spice of life, there is no issue here.
Edit: also it’s a high fantasy setting, where the only limit is the dev team’s imagination. I mean, have you seen the DnD list of races? They got elephant people, lizard people, and so much more along with other varieties of more human like humanoids like elves and dwarves and it’s all awesome.
Reminds me of someone I knew who hated Furries so much that he refused to let his kid (six at the time) watch any movie or show, or play any games with talking animals so the kid didn’t ‘grow up a fursuited dog effer’.
Kid would be watching nothing but horror movies and action movies, not even cartoons! This dude even protested Zootopia because Disney was making ‘animal loving’ normalized.
Kid is like 25 now and is the biggest furry I know.
