They wanna make the budget combo points more of clunky thing and they wanna get rid of something that has become iconic.
They also think death grip is a raid buff tells me that who even is working on death knight has no idea what they are doing or blizz is using ChatGPT to balance the classes now since they lack the ability to culture good talent and instead using hires like fuel in a furnace and dumping the ashes when they are done.
Whoever is balancing tanks should have a performance review, someone needs to look into what this person actually does on a day-day basis because I doubt they spend a lot of time looking at the current state of tanks.

The fact that so many people say this is telling that people underestimate the value that grip provides. Has no one actually helped their group with grip bringing in enemies into the deathball? Grip is indeed good utility that can marginally (keyword) increase your groups dps and can interrupt casting. I’d argue far more useful in m+ due to the shear volume of adds that it actually works against. HOWEVER the point the vast majority of the dk player base has been making is that on raw numbers it does not cut it comparatively to a throughput buff. Not by a long long shot.
I hope I’m wrong here but if blizzard comes to their senses and gave us a real buff it’ll be another -3% damage taken. You wanted a raid buff dks?!?! CHOKE on it!!

People act like DK doesnt have anything in its kit to bring. Or that its the ONLY class that doesnt have a raid buff which is just entirely untrue. They go through all the stuff that other classes have but ignore or make excuses for the things that DK provides.
They say AMZ is nerfed (its not), ignore Insidious Chill, Blinding Sleet, AMZ, Death Grip and just focus on having no applicable throughput buff.

2 charges of 1(one(single(less than two) pull on a mob(not boss, grip is useless vs bosses) every 30 seconds is identical in utility to RUNNING AROUND A CORNER breaking LoS. Grip has been my favorite button in the entire game since wrath, that doesnt make it as impactful as you think it does. The reverse is true in pvp, because its a player, and moving a player has infinitely more utility than moving a single mob. Go to therapy.
Then run the corner and remove grip. If its identical then grip isnt needed.
What does it being your favorite ability has anything to do with its impactfulness? One has no impact on the other. But it is extremely impactful.

I said it because, while its use in PvE has almost always been marginal and mostly a tank tool for pulling, its a very fun ability, that i dont want gone.
Calling it a “raid buff” is far more nonsensical. Its raid utility is extremely minimal. Like… maybe even less than a %.
