Im talking about with empowered renew. You go EMP renew and drop benediction because those overwrite ur big renews. Lasting words gives you absurd uptime on EMP renew. If you give up epiphany you can Lasting Words / Answered Prayers / AND Divinity (oracle) or Eternal Sanctity ( Archon) . Also this is just an afterthought but oracle will prob still oom. Archon is still in the conversation

I mean I just dont agree. The spec is still going to hemmorhage mana when you q into any of the giga meta specs. Feral, MM, BM, Affi etc. are getting effectively untouched and will still just be a massive pve war that hpri will still have to spam through.
The burst healing and stuff is great, and I think hpri will be good, but I don’t see it being better than disc/rsham still.
Time will tell ofc, but it also still suffers from just being able to be w keyed at

I have my doubts that all of this will be worth it but it’s possible. pom is about to be insanely juiced and epiphany provides a pretty significant amount of uptime, not to mention epiphany being the primary reason answered prayers is worth it in a pom build. I think if anything gets dropped here in favor of lasting words, it’s divinity. who knows though, it’s all speculation rn
also possible that pom build will just be aoe overkill and we won’t take pom talents at all in favor of lasting word build variations
yeah it definitely could but I think oracle’s mana will now be pretty robust into heavy spread damage at the very least. could end up being vulnerable to constant, heavy single target pressure though. archon is definitely still in the conversation; will probably be a pretty strong general pick into most things and be able to hang even better in longer games
I mean we have moderate mana issues on oracle and a minor one on archon, but even now, if someone is actually optimizing their healing globals on holy, I think saying that we hemorrhage mana is hyperbolic
every time one of my friends picks up holy, they ask me why they’re going oom inside 2min, and when I see their details breakdown or watch them play, it’s that they’re spamming flash heal, wasting serenities, not making proper use of angel, or something else silly and basic. not saying holy won’t oom into meta comps and particularly into warrior teams but most people who try hpriest go oom as quickly as they do (in pretty much any patch) because the PEBKAC
this is possible for sure, and tbh I just know that I’ve been conditioned by holy being so trash for this long that simply being A- tier will make me feel like the spec is broken. it also won’t help us if disc ends up giving up its crown to rsham either since rsham pretty much hard counters hpriest
Love how Arms gets buffs to 2 of their favorite abilities to press, plus another buff for those that play Colossus -AND- their archnemesis class Mage gets some not insignificant hits to mobility and shields, but…
They just flatly ignore all that and proceed directly to whining about everything else. That’s so warrior.

Yeah if you don’t take Divinity you get to go Prismatic Echos + Epiphany + LW + AP. Think that’s where I’m settled for now
