Alliance are the good guys.
Horde are the bad guys.

This is good, actually.

Humans? Interesting race who’s storylines are often times much more interesting than anything coming out of other races. Night Elves? Dwarves? Earthen? I’m snoozing. The only race that comes close is Orcs who are cool as well.

Is it an “Alliance expansion”? Then that’s good. We’re squatting in Silvermoon? Then that’s good.

Some of you still have to come to grips with the ironclad fact that the Horde stopped being interesting the moment Thrall abandoned his post as Warchief to go play “World Shaman”. Since Garrosh it’s just continuing on his enduring evil legacy. Sylvanas was nothing more than an appendage of his. During the time of Thrall it was actually that kind of nuanced, tenuous pact between disparate races that needed to survive. Afterwards it’s a global fascistic ever-expanding empire and only recently has it been forced to be neutered.

So you’ll excuse me if I don’t have a problem with seeing the likes of Turalyon, Alleria, Anduin, Vereesa, Arator and scores of Alliance characters over Horde nobodies. They ruined your faction 2 decades ago. Deal with it.

To me, the Horde is Garrosh vs Sylvanas. Obviously it all started with Warcraft: Orcs & Humans but Garrosh vs Thrall was an evolutionary step for the Orcs and Arthas vs Sylvanas became what the Warcraft story was all about.

But that’s just my take.

Alliance are only considered good guys cuz they’re allowed to genocide/enslave/murder as much as they want cuz blizz just sweeps it under the rug endlessly and horde need to suffer for all eternity of a single person ever does anything wrong
