There's nothing wrong with "pay2win", in fact it's wrong to be against it. 🦅

I wok hard, i dont have the extra time to waste playing wow. But i enjoy the 6 hours i do get each day after work to relax and play. I dont see anything wrong with wanting to purchase a few things to improve my gaming because i work so hard to get where im at. If you choose not to, that’s fine with me im not going to complain that you choose to spend your time doing other stuff, but dont keep me from enjoying the game my way.

It doesnt effect you if i get an item by the shop. It’s no different then if i raided for it to you it doesnt effect you. It’s literally like you’re punishing me for working hard. I dont complain that you spend all day playing and i cant, so why complain about shop items?

There should be a shop with unique shop only looks like, most games have them. There should be raiding gear available. Special mounts. ECT. This will only make more money for blizzard, you know the company that made this game… Which would literally make the game even better since they have more to spend making it better. Comon sense 101…

TLDR: it’s super lame to punish me for working hard and psy2win doesnt hurt anybody obviously just people hating.

Weird thing is, I’m not in total disagreement lol. I mean if you don’t like a game’s pay2win mechanics, quit the game. I’m not about to tell people how to spend their money so if they want to spend it on pixels in a video game, more power to them. I don’t like it, so if it’s pretty blatantly there, I’ll move on. There’s nothing inherently wrong with “pay2win” considering it does in fact not harm anyone and everyone is free to just quit. Generally speaking though, most of the games that do go that route usually just die, and rightfully so.

Going to agree only because I’m used to playing games where you pay for services.

WoW isn’t free to play though which is why people have a problem with it

You play for 6 hours every day? What can’t you accomplish in 42 hours a week?

They need to add friends and guilds to the shop too, I don’t have time to socialize and form these connections. I work hard Blizzard, dropping 20$ is all I need to get back against Billy for winning that duel once!

Sure, just remove the sub fee and we’re in agreement

WoW should also be made into a mobile game

When true p2w tactics come into play it hurts people who choose to keep their money in their wallet. I personally don’t care if they sold an item that would make me a wow god I wouldn’t give them cash for it just out of the principal of the matter.

Also P2W has no place in a game that we allready pay a sub for anyways. Really ATM wow is just as pay 2 win as some of those other MMO’s out there though. I mean you can pay to instantly be max level and pay for gold and buy some of the best corrupted BOE in the game.

WoW isn’t pay-to-win. Buying mounts and max level boosts is not pay-to-win. When the day comes that you can buy mythic gear from the store, then it will be pay-to-win.

It’s not Sunday anymore, but even if you aren’t trolling:

I have to deal with enough P2W in real life, and I play video games to escape from it. Just because Ma left the credit card out doesn’t mean you should be rewarded for doing something completely unrelated to the game.

Respect the right of the original poster to share his or her thoughts but I wholeheartedly disagree with the point that it does not affect others. Not everyone would be able to afford or can’t afford to take advantage of such shops and therefore it affects their game.

I mean what next? are people going to start selling raid carries? and an even crazier idea would be people selling arena carries? I mean it’s not like you can go buy the best gear in game off the AH atm cause if that was the case all the mythic guilds would be buying it all up.
