There's no way Blizzard will bounce back from this

I don’t know if Blizzard is going to bounce back from the totality of the circumstances.

  1. Released back-to-back unpopular expansions.

  2. Maintain radio silence with the community.

  3. Push out a rushed and miniscule patch 8 months after expansions’ release.

  4. Sexual harassment Lawsuit.

  5. Deplorable work conditions exposed.

  6. Out of touch response to CUSTOMERS telling them that they’re, “part of the problem.” https://twitter.com/azgaz/status/1419398240105996288

  7. Leaks about WC3’s rushed development leaked; pushed out in contempt of customers https://youtu.be/9zDrp4pncDs

Do you believe Activision/Blizzard can right the ship?

I hope they do but believe they can’t… or when they return to start fixing the problems, they’ll find the community has already left.

This would probably be fine if they didn’t make whackadoodle decisions without explaining them all the time.

It makes sense now, they were drunk all along.

I don’t think there is much of a chance they won’t, in regards to the game.

They will pull thru it, it might be a difficult time for the next couple of months but eventually the current situation will be resolved and they will feel more pressured to try and regain the support of the player base they lost.

Companies have bounced back from things like bankruptcy, poor business decisions and lawsuits. Apple, GM, AIG just to name a few. Some, like IKEA and Toyota, sold products that actually killed people. I think Blizz will be ok in the long run.

The game will be better if half the people leave to be honest. Too much toxicity and entitlement in the community.

Things will be back to normal next month. People are fickle and have bad short term memory.

Not as an entity as a whole.

They’ll likely be torn and rip apart by Activision.

Absorbed. Destroyed. Forgotten.

Even if the entire US and EU stop playing, they still have China and that alone can keep them alive.
And China is very happy with the game for what it is

Will they bounce back to regain their prior esteem levels? Probably not. Will they recover and continue making money? Yes, absolutely.

Even without this lawsuit, the looming issue is that Blizzard as a company has been in rehash / sequel mode for quite a while now. Overwatch was arguably their last “original” title, and that was 5 years ago.

Anything and everything else since then has been either a sequel, a revamp, or a derivative based on already established gameplay available in other titles.

Add this lawsuit on top of this, and things are going to get worse before they get better.

If all the “woke” people are not hypocrites, have the courage of their convictions, and leave this horribly non PC game behind:. imagine how much better it will be for the rest of us.

Tweets are private now. Does anyone have a screenshot or know what this said?

He implied that customers had no right to complain about the state of the game. Trying to shift blame to others for their faults.

I noticed that, too because I had the same problem.

I’d post a picture if I had the trust level.

The link I got was from a post that got flagged into oblivion.

Dang. So curious.

Plenty of fanboys out there, im sure Blizz will be fine

How does one make a title theres no way blizzard will bounce back then you instantly walk back what you said and say you dont know

For those curious.

mybe, just look at the hype of the new battlefield game, few years ago it was a disaster. Now after listening to the community alot of people are hyped about it.

I guarantee you most people on here will stop talking about all of this in the weeks to come and will start complaining about awful storylines and systems again.

WoW will be fine, Blizzard isn’t going anywhere.

People will whine and threaten to quit, many will come back as soon as the hint of new content is being released.

If you think much is going to change in regards to the game and the company, you’d be wrong.
