There's no reason that all Mounts cannot Fly

Don’t say it wouldn’t make sense when we have Mounts like Sundancer that just run through the air or all the joke mounts in the game that can fly.

It would greatly diversify the mounts Players use and not make Grounds mounts useless in all content but Forced Grounded Content or PvP.

FF14 had this issue too and Yoshi P decided to let all Mounts fly after player feedback kept mentioning that they wish they weren’t forced to abandon their favorite mounts because they couldn’t Fly. Since, you’know, players will always pick Flying over Grounded if they can as it’s WAY faster and ignores annoying pathing issues and designs. Hence the whole BFA issue and players demanding Flying without Pathfinder in it.

Blizzard already stated that this will happen. Not need to die on this non-existent hill.

I took a second look. I see… you want ground mounts to fly.

Ok… sure. Go for it. Why not. Although I’d like to point out that quite a few ground mounts were in fact turned into flying last expansion.

Explaining how the second most popular MMO on the market dealt with this same issue, which pleased its playerbase, isn’t kissing up.

Sounds like you just have some unresolved and irrational anger within you.

To be fair… it isn’t really an “issue” that needs to be solved. Its a request from players like you.

Irrelevant. It has no special animations or magical effects. It just runs in the air the same way it walks on the ground. Furthermore, there could easily be a Mount Accessory added in game to let mounts fly via Magic.

I mean, this is WoW, we’ve had a floating city since sometime in Cata or Wrath and a flying ship Jaina just parks anywhere… if a freaking boat can fly and be a store mount… anything can.

Engineers can make antigravity devices, Mages and enchanters can enchant mounts to float, maybe a Goblin/Gnome made jetpack for mounts or…something. There are dozens of ways to have most if not all mounts have some kind of aeriel mobility.
