Just let us vendor buy P1-P3 runes. the easiest W in the history of Blizzard Entertainment.
This is very true in my case, i want to play my paladin but some of the runes are just impossible to get so why bother? I cant even go out and quest for them, i have to make a group and no one wants to join it. I just logged out, i will go back to logging in for the raids and playing another game for the remainder of the week and i really don’t like to play like that, would much prefer to play the game more with alts but the rune situation is just ridiculous.
Lack of communication is also a problem something that was not the case the first couple of phases.
There is no real way to incentivize people to play classic wow at anything pre-end game once end-game is out, it’s just going to be a dead experience until 55+ , for the rest of SoD.
There are plenty of solutions, make new quests for the runes so that players can do them in solo play
Make the runes a weekly reward
Add a currency for the runes that also drop in dungeons and then you can collect a rune if you farm for them
They are just lazy and don’t play the game clearly.
“we listen to feedback” - Aggrand
Sure you do!
Exactly and you would think with retail and other classic modes they would understand that but have totally ignored that fact, locking runes behind old content that no one wants to do…
But that’s not ‘resetting’ your progress in the game. It’s one of the reason Retail took a dive; each new Tier basically reset your character’s progress [in gear].
So? The whole reason we’re playing SoD is because we wanted something ‘not-Era’, ‘not-Cata’, and ‘not-Retail’.
Forcing players to constantly restart their character every ~4 months would serve only to drive players away from SoD. And since they probably aren’t all playing the ‘other versions’ they’d just quit. - Hence “How To Kill A Game 101”. Because I’m betting a good 3/4 of the players playing SoD would quit. Of the remaining 1/4, I’d wager half would just pivot to playing their ‘alternate version [of WoW]’ exclusively.
…Blizzard already merged SoD servers with around 6k total players. What do you think they’d do to a ‘game mode/version’ that, in total, had less than 2k players.
Wonder if anybody noticed the “4 months later” from the sock puppet.
and we all resoundingly say goodbye.
If you’re a returning player and you intend to raid forget about your epic mount unless you reroll pally or lock as your gold will be spent on tier 0.5
you don’t need an epic mount. there are flight paths you can ride to the zones with raid entrances, I didn’t get my epic mount on my alt in Classic and it made no difference.
The gameplay is the incentive. If you don’t like it, SoD is not for you.
No one needs or should have an epic mount just because you choose not to.
That’s some really great input and not narrow minded at all.
on behalf of other sweatlords, I agree with you. If you aren’t a no-lifer, get out.
Im just super bored of Classic tbh. They could release total fresh again like in 2019 and i just dont care to play this game anymore.
you misunderstood my post.
the game can be played and enjoyed without an epic mount.
Glad i could clarify that for you.
Enjoyment is a very subjective term - enjoyment to me is having an epic mount and going fast. Enjoyment to others could be playing the AH like a stock market where no mount is needed at all.
Glad I could clarify this for you
then do what it takes to have an epic mount and go fast.
you’ve set your own, go make it happen.
welcome to MMORPGs.
That sounds like every version of wow to lol
