I was looking for something one night, and a WoW Singles: LFR, looking for romance, group popped up? I never posted WoW on my Facebook account unless the metaverse overlords are reading my messages with a guild mate. So I was like, well, I’m single and I like WoW. So I joined.
Have any of you ever discovered something like that? Or those suspicious “gamergirl/gamerboy” dating website/app ads?

Nope. Have never used/been targetted by a dating anything. Been with a guy I met in the 7th grade for all eternity. Always wondered about them, though, and especially the people that use them.
I do not mean that as an insult at all, just for clarity. I just see… interesting screenshots on reddit I guess 
With a WoW themed one at least you’d already have one common interest.
I do know some folks who met via WoW and married but pretty sure they all met randomly in-game.

I only dated a WoW player once in my life, and that’s only because I met her through Instagram, she was a Priest in EU named Dubstep lmao. Well, not exactly Dubstep, considering letter changes and all.
Checked her Instagram maybe two years ago, being i had followed her on my dead WoW Instagram account I didn’t know still existed, she’s married now
