Or you compare the overall statistics on all servers
Every streamer I’ve seen is rolling PVP bar one.
Uh, you’re trying to compare BfA statistics where a) War Mode means no server is PVP any more, and b) War Mode is generally considered a failure, with Vanilla where PVE servers were bursting at the seams with players?
Feel free to link to, or post the statistics you’re basing it on, but there are plenty of Full and High PVE servers in the current realm list, and in Vanilla, there were even more.
So no, I have no clue what statistics you’re working off but I don’t think they match actual reality.

Using the pre-BFA labels of PVE and PVP for servers, the majority of the top 10 most active realms based on recent data, is PVE. Scroll to the bottom since it only sorts Ascending. (6 PVE, 1 RP-PVE, 3 PVP)
Current BfA statistics can’t be shown because there’s no public counter of WarMode Enabled players. But the assumption is everyone on a PVP server when it changed, enabled War Mode (or had it automatically enabled).
Always hurts when Vanilla Forsaken players smile…especially in PvP.

Really? well I suppose it will be humorous when a constant world pvp is raging around them wherever they go.
Fans protecting the streamer and stream snipers attacking him.
Kinda like playing “protect the ViP”
There should be close to 100 servers so I’m not sure what all the low ball guessing is about.
Well, then you clearly have never played on a pve server before. Generally all the people there prefer pve to pvp and only enjoy pvp on their own terms, such as duels and BGs.
5 isn’t a low ball guess. 5 is the minimum standard that’s basically been set by Blizzard with Kaivax’s post. Will there be more than 5? Almost undoubtedly. 5 is just the minimum.
There are three of them (Staysafe, Esfand, and Tips) who are planning to roll on the same PVP server with one of them on the opposite side (can’t remember which).
I’d agree with you if not for the fact that Watcher disagrees with you.
Tips will be Horde, the other two will be Alliance.
I kind of think it will be fine, especially at higher levels. That is a lot of work to put in just to follow some e-idol (barf) around in EPL.
Farm tagging would be my real concern. One guy with a willing horde of “I tag it you kill it” fanbois, would be able to farm up whatever they wanted.
Might be the case. I don’t really care, there are lots of places to farm gold, items, materials and reputation.
I also don’t see the folks mentioned (Tips, Staysafe, Esfand) as being the kind of players who don’t have some self awareness that what they are doing is taking it too far or potentially harmful. All seem like guys who understand that concept.
Can’t say that about others though, so that potential is there.
Most of the Classic authority streamers are pretty good. I don’t see the ragey people like Asmodean or Alexsensual actually being able to cut it in Classic, so likely they’ll return to Retail.
When you say “per región” you mean like America, EU, Oceania? Or something like NA, Latin America, Brazil, etc?
Because I can see Latin America only having like… 2 servers. I wouldn’t be surprise if we don’t even have one. In Retail we only have 3 (Quel’thalas, Drakkari, and Ragnaros), none of them is a RP server.
And Blizzard Doesn’t really care much about our region. In fact, they fired all the Latin America CMs, so… Yeah. With luck maybe we’ll have 2 servers.
When I say region, I mean specifically what Blizzard means when they say per region.
Latin America technically falls under the NA region.
I’m amazed.
I figured maybe one, to see how it goes, with no PVP server.
Wow, they are really going in big for this thing that could totally fail.
Major Regions are Americas and Oceania, Europe, and China.
