There were 5x of people watching Mitch Jones double mage than actually playing the game

Blizzard needs to wake up and realize they are missing potential subscribers to the game because of their neglect of Arena tuning.

20k people consistently tune into mitch jones and xaryu messing around with arcane meme in a casual setting, meanwhile actual arena participation is around 5k.

Is blizzard not seeing the signs here? If they build the game around the average arena scene instead of constantly trying to build it around eSports, they could be capitalizing on all these missed out subscribers. As it stands now, it’s better to just watch people, than to play it.

And the solution to all this is simple, all blizzard has to do is have weekly tuning to PVP, and balance it around the majority of players and not the high-end. The lack of effort on blizzards part is whats killing Arena.

Watching Mitch Jones on break at work because you got a notif he’s live is much easier than logging onto the game, getting partners and pressing Q, then using brain power to play the game

It would make sense viewer ship is higher

Everybody wants to watch two glad/r1 players dab on undergeared newbies

Nobody plays because they’d be the undergeared newbie getting laughed at on stream
