i for one am sick of people who roll on pvp servers complaining that pvp happened on a pvp server.
next season or even now in this one , please put a pop up window when selecting a pvp server to roll a character that explains something to the fact that pvp will happen and it will not always be fair or even have the assumption of being fair at all.
You should also be able to transfer off for free.
Many get sucked into the mythos that WoW PVP will be of the likes of Rogues Take Zero Skill or Revenge of the Shaman (or any of the other carefully curated PVP videos out there).
They roll on and quickly find out itâs not even remotely like those videos. But theyâre now suffering from âsunk costâ and donât want to reroll.
Yeah man, if you grew up, youâd realize that itâs a game and itâs pretty weird to be âpro griefâ instead of pro pvp.
Usually you figure this out soon after your mother stops doing your laundry.
It wouldnât bother me so much if the Horde wasnât mostly PvEâers who rolled on a PvP server for the population (and as some sort of accreditation for some) and then just avoid it at all cost.
If I could convince my guild to go, Iâd absolutely move to a populated PvE server should they open it up.
I can do plenty of PvP in BGs, and donât need to get griefed in the open world. (At least not in that way.)
You know Alliance say this exact same thing inversely, right?
Iâm sure they do, but I spend far more time dealing with a swarm of alliance camping people than have seen horde doing the reverse in contested zones.

I love this idea and I appreciate the spirit of it but sadly it still wouldnât work. You realize theyâll still cry right? One thing Iâve learned in my fifty plus years of playing WoW is that the community crying is a force which CAN NOT be stopped.
having clear and present danger in the world where it isnt automatically a given that anything will even be remotely fair is fun to me and alot of others like me.

I dont pvp. Im not good at it and value my time enough to not want to entrust other people with possibly wasting it. Plenty of options to pvp on pve servers if you only want to pvp when you want to. Thats the only correct take on this.
I swear you people are the worst always pushing your opinions onto others, you think pvp servers should be one way and we think they should be another where its actually âpvpâ and not just griefing for the sake of ruining the experience of others.
Like people upset about the not being able to MC on boats like how much of an absolute degenerate do you have to be to sit on a boat all day and throw people off? Or also complaining about the guards at incursions that should be a sanctuary as its meant exclusively for leveling and not pvp you gain nothing from pvp if pvp was intended there would be a player kill quest and there is not.
when you sign up for pvp servers it should come with the tacit knowledge that you can get ganked at nearly everywhere in the world.
im just asking for a popup so people cant say âwell i diddnt expect thisâ or some other garbage about honorable combat.
its not going to be that in alot of the encounters and for people to expect that or ask for warmode (which is basically a pve server with bonus crap for actually pvping fair or not).
pvp servers have been out and functional for over half the time wow has been out (at least 11 years or so) so people shouldnt have the excuse anyways but they always seem to have it.
lets take the excuse away.
Who defend content designed in a way that never existed in Vanilla that makes the PVP server rules more punishing than ever. The PVP rules arenât a problem, the content design is.
