There should be a penalty/strike system for leaving Dungeon and Raid finder queue pops as well

There should be a penalty system for leaving or missing queue pops as well for Dungeon and Raid finder groups. I just sat here for almost 45 mins and multiple queue pops someone doesnt queue up and get sent back to queue and its happened many times now.

Final Fantasy XIV does it. No im not here to compare either games but they do have a good system that greatly reduced this happening.

If you dont hit accept for a dungeon or raid finder group once its ready to go you get a strike. 3 strikes each day. If you miss 3 in a day you get deserter debuff. I think they reset if you queue I dunno never got one for it there.

This greatly reduced the massive ammount of times people were dropping queues.

They need a system like this as well here. To add to people leaving dungeons early.

Just my 2 cents

Edit - Yes I realize things come up thats why its a 3 strike system. If you are so busy you have to miss 3 queue pops then handle your business first and queue again after. RL/Work over the game first anyways.

how about no stuff do come up in real life when players are waiting with raidfinder and LFG
but on holidays i agree on this

Im aware. Why its a 3 strike system. If you are so busy you have to miss 3 queue pops dont queue and handle your business first.

Ive done it as well missed a queue then didnt queue till I handled whatever it was.

Are you assuming the same person is denying the queue pop? Or…

Of course not. Im just saying overall this kinda system reduced it happening way more overall in other games especially in ffxiv once it was added long ago. I mean I dont ever expect blizz to put something like this in here as poeple will have a fit over it but hey was worth a try to mention it

Would help people think twice before queueing and dont just drop.

I know what you mean, I don’t think I’ve ever accidentally missed 3 queues in a row in FFXIV either, so I had no idea it was a thing. Maybe, one? And that’s just what happens when you’ve got unforeseen obligations.
Sorry that happened to ya, I know it’s got to be annoying

Because who does LFR in previous expansions?

It isn’t like you get sent to the back of the line, so why does it matter? I often don’t accept a queue if I am in the middle of killing mobs for a world quest or something, sometimes I catch it and accept last minute and sometimes I don’t. I don’t just sit and stare at my screen waiting for it to pop.

And also when I am on a DPS with longer queues, it always seems to pop when I quickly stepped out to use the bathroom or get a drink

Im refferring to DF (Dungeon Finder) in this instance but LFR is an example of prior experience obviously…or would think that would be obvious in this case with a new xpac and no current lfr content…obviously…right?

thats just blizzard magic monitioring keystrokes etc and they do it on purpose

DF isnt a current expansion…

You are complaining about LFR ques when almsot NO one is playing DF content anymore.

Are you just looking to argue for the sake of arguing? Already said my bad I referred to DF as dungeon finder. I apologize if my word choices offended you for not using the correct WoW lingo

I was reffering to DF as LFD. Habit from other games to use DF to describe dungeon finder.

LFR was an example for when they are relevent to the xpac. So in this case, not atm. (oh by the way atm = at the moment)

Why are people so desperate to punish others in a game?

Three strikes seems fair. But I would rather it group unreliables together than punish anyone.

That’s ridiculous.

Sometimes I join a queue and it tells me the estimated wait time is 20 minutes, so I go grab something to eat real quick, and within 3 minutes my headphones tell me the queue popped, but I literally have no way to get back to the computer in time to click accept.

Or I have been sitting there for 20 minutes and have to pee, and the queue has changed to 30 minutes. And surprise! It pops the second my hand is on my junk.

You should be banned from the forums and the game. And your house, for such a stupid idea.

Sure it is annoying to have constant queues pop with it timing out. But for DPS to miss super long queues it makes sense. It’s when a TANK queues up for their near instant queues, who then time out that actually pisses me off.
