Raider io is a cope. It has little to no impact on success. It is a statistics manipulation cheat attempt, but it’s not a very good one.
At the end of the day, just keep grinding and eventually you will get both good and lucky enough to time the keys you want as long as you stay in your skill level.
No sir, this is a problem you need to solve, and blizzard has given you the tools to accomplish the task.
Have a good run with folks? Be honest, I know it happens. When it happens again, talk to the group and ask for a BTag. Now you’re building a group of nontoxic players to run keys.
What, do we think handing out punishments for leaving a key for any reason is going to retain people?
It’s weird how these minor/uncommon problem vent threads devolve into “well the game is dying” because somebody wasn’t interested in sticking around to help finish their presumably scuffed key.
There you go again…man I didn’t think about more socializing. You make it so simple. Once I filter thru 100s of players I should have a hand full of decent players to run mythic pluses with. I bet that won’t take more than a couple days. Thank you again.
Thank you for proving my point on why it isn’t as simple as saying “just make more friends” when 30-40% of the player base is stupid/power hungry/toxic. It is NOT as simple as you make it. Everybody seems to know that but you.
No. I’ve just given up on explaining this to you. I’ve made many friends while doing m+ and even random people in trade chat I talk to for five minutes over stupid things like transmog or whether or not Kul-tirans are real. And people have added me to their btags offering to do m+ with me lol. You’re the toxic one. If you call everyone toxic then you’re toxic. Nice people exist and aren’t all that hard to come by.
Says the person who says “continue to cry about it and be helpless”. Do you know what the word irony means? You might want to take a hard look in the mirror. AND I have found some nice people but that is a VERY small pool of players.
Yeah, because you’re helpless and you’re crying about it. I’ve told you what you should do if you want to do mythic+ and how to get reliable people. Yet, you still continue to have a negative mindset over it. You act like mythic+ is beyond saving and that everything is hopeless, but it isn’t. It’s your choice if you want your mythic+ experience to be better, not mine. So, I apologize for giving you advice. I know what I said is mean, I’ll admit but I seriously have no idea what to tell you.
Then why are you complaining about people leaving your keys? Play with them.
I think you need to look up the meaning of irony. My favorite quote is “I know what I said is mean”. You would be a poster child of a toxic player. If you can’t see that I can’t help you. I’ve been playing Wow since classic, been in many guilds and had many “friends” but that doesn’t mean they are available to run Mythic pluses. If you want to run Mythic pluses you will have to pug…and it is a toxic environment. The original poster is looking for solution other than “just find more friends”.
I know what irony means, lol. Besides, who cares if you’ve been playing Wow since classic? It doesn’t mean you’re better. And you’re right; friends aren’t always available, but not all PUGS are toxic lol. I’ve been pugging a lot, and never once have I ever encountered such a toxic player to the point where I need to run to the forums and complain about it. Yes, as of recently, I did have a “toxic player” in my friend’s key, and we all got into Discord, talked it out, and ran a key together. I understand the OP is looking for a solution but punishing leavers isn’t going to improve things. It’s just going to make the community worse. We shouldn’t have to change how the pugging system works because people leave keys. If I want to leave a key because people are screwing up, or overall just a nightmare to do, then I will. I will not waste my time wiping on trash for 20 minutes at the beginning of the dungeon. Do I think the pugging community could be better? Sure, there’s always room for improvement but I don’t think we need to revamp everything all because people leave.
