There must be a reason why Blizzard doesn't use more tools to balance factions

There has to be a reason. Blizzard knows something we don’t. Perhaps server imbalances doesn’t really affect subs. Perhaps they know that the majority of the player base will leave in January?

Or maybe, just maybe, blizzard is aware that all these “fixes” people have proposed are extremely short sighted and would end up causing even more rage than the current issues

How would a faction queue be shortsighted?

Roll on PVE server please and stop suggesting blizzard change pvp servers. Thank you in advance

You are punishing people who did nothing wrong to give an advantage to people who have half a dozen other options to fix their “problem”.

Faction queues are the worst idea I can think of for dealing with imbalance actually.

Its WAY too late for that, you would be screwing over one faction when it comes to logging in for raid times ect.

If they were going to do that kind of thing it would needed to have been from the very beginning, not after millions of people have invested time into their characters

i mean it would be better if blizzard upset the small minority of neckbeards over the majority of players.

i think you are way over estimating the amount of people that play the game.

No, im not

The developers (or the people who drive them to make their decisions) are professional short sighted decision makers.

There was always going to be PVP server faction imbalance favoring horde barring outliers that streamers affect. Blizzard have just made the issues worse given how they handled character mitigation to solve server que issues.

What happens in January? WOW 2 based on Vanilla comes out? Alien takeover? Sun goes nova? J. Allen Brack cancels Classic to spite us? What?

You would have the same half a dozen other options as you claim to fix the now your problem

I dont even play on a PvP server as my main… How does what I said make me a bully at all? By your logic you just want to be the bully instead of me.

Go read some books, good lord.

Same outcome would have happened regardless of how it was handled. Alliance still would have moved and it would be horde dominate just like retail.
Forcing a login que would upset the other group and they would more than likely stop playing.
Opening up new servers and putting faction caps is probably the best idea. I do see this eventually becoming one sided though.

You getting wrecked in pvp is none of my concern

Battlegrounds should have been released last week instead of pushing it up to Dec. 10th.

How do you even know the factions are unbalanced?
Blizz doesn’t release that information.

Did I hit a nerve?
You said that horde are blameless and shouldn’t suffer faction queues while alliance folks have to reroll on pve or change server or « half a dozen other options »

Double standard much?
Im the bully tho

Balance factions is not what they crave for. It’s a you problem.

They expect people to leave from a mix of “they thought they did, but they didn’t” and “Classic is no longer new and I’m a bandwagoner.”

For those of us who came by choice, it doesn’t matter.
