In an average 20 minute battleground, i spend about 2 hours being feared/stunned/silenced/rooted/slowed. Holy cow, why does every class have 1000 escape buttons?
I really think we need to look at the CC and start cutting it down

This is why I don’t PvP. As an unga bunga warrior, All it takes it a couple CCs and I’m done for. That and I’m just bad at PvP.

I won’t speak to the balancing, but this is why I don’t PvP either. Because I prefer to actually play the game, not be stunned for so long that half my time in combat is spent staring at the screen doing nothing.
But that’s what many people, for reasons I dont understand, seem to enjoy, and they’re welcome to it. I’ll admire their skillful ability to coordinate CC chains and spike damage from afar while shaking my head in befuddlement.

I think the bigger concern is that you’re stuck in some sort of time anomaly instead! We need to get Chromie to help pull you out of this–

Unfortunately, unlike a lot of CC, Polymorph has a cast time…
An interruptible cast time.
Polymorph is strong (and sheep are great!) but it really pales against the multitude of instant 5 second stuns and such.
(That and the Evoker ability that blocks CC really kinda makes it moot…)

I feel transported back to the MoP forums.
Take it like a champ, PvP has always been a CC battle especially if you’re a healer you will get hit the most with CC. Personally I think PvP would be boring if it was just a slug fest.
Did this dude really just say polymorph pales in comparison to other cc?

If every class has 1000 escape buttons why are you spending 2 hours stuck in cc? If you’re going to echo chamber yourself with a false narrative, atleast stick to it. 
Seeing how other methods of CC are instant and have similar durations, yes. Like I said, Polymorph is great. It’s just that I now have to get through three stacks of CC immunity, have a 1.5 second cast in an era where classes are super mobile with instant CC abilities, and then hope it’s not trinketed or otherwise removed.
