There is no drop from mobs

The problem is as follows: when killing any mob, the standard loot initially drops — gold, cloth, and other items. However, after just a few minutes of farming, the loot drastically changes — gold is replaced with silver, and cloth along with other valuable materials stop dropping entirely.

I tested this on different types of mobs — the result was always the same. I asked a friend to run the same test — he experienced the exact same issue. I also spoke with guildmates — they confirmed that they’re facing the same problem.

Farming becomes pointless: it’s impossible to gather even basic resources for crafting items. I moved to Pandaria to check there — and unfortunately, the bug occurs there too. The issue appears to be global — no matter where I go in Azeroth, the problem persists. It seems to be either a bug or a stealth nerf that hasn’t been communicated.

Just checked on a 20 toon and could farm all the mobs of Elwynn and Westfall for like 20m. All dropped gold, greens, cloth, mats and trash.

The problem isn’t just happening to me, but to many others as well. Loot drops normally only during the first few minutes, and then it disappears

yes… i can confirm this because it is happening to me, i start farming weavercloth at hallowfall beach killing the humanoids there with my tailor character, cloth and boe start dropping but suddenly after some minutes farming it just stop dropping cloth and even boe items

Let’s see what blizzard will say about this

Maybe is a zone bug in WW zones or an anti farming bot measure that went overkill.

Exactly what’s happening with me, trying to farm some Crystallized fire in WotLK, he mobs drop loot in the first clear but after that almost no loot drops… barely after 10 or so kills

the loot is working for me (retail) are you on retail or classic? post here if on classic – forums > wow classic > wow classic bug report
